Equality and Transparency in Higher Education Petition To: Indian Citizens To The Prime Minister, Government of India Honorable Sir, With due respect, we, the students of India would like to draw your kind attention to the following inherent irregularities in the present appointment process of lecturers. 1. At present interview is the only criteria for recruitment, but for one or two vacancies as many as 200 to 300 applicants are called and interviewed within 6 to 7 hours. It is impossible to judge the capabilities and abilities of a candidate within a time span of 2 to 3 minutes. 2. Quite often it is alleged that inter university discrimination is prevalent in the selection process by the board members. Selection board often prefers their own students, ignoring other competent candidates. 3. I never did what I wanted to, Hardly have I cared to live the expectations through Time kept changing its dimensions, I guess. Although I was all about thoughtfulness for weak, for poor and for helpless I reached them, though my resources did not allow I forgot the personal things and manners of private affairs, Ignored the hardships and problems of life, to meet my consciousness, to feed my vendetta! Here I am with only one life, and at peak of it, I realized - I cannot do much.. neither can my innocent efforts things will be the same in this world, the inertia will be greater, gravity will be souring. The gaps, the odds have been here... Might will be always right! Humanity shall still fight! And I have just one life, Let it live for a while- No regrets-no complaints- just day and nights!!!

Mumbat Attack: A result of Political Crisis

The Mumbai attack was a war on Indians and on very concept of India.
