It is often said "followyour heart" and be what you want to be. The examples given are Bill Gates,Steve Jobs, Amithabh Bachhan and so on. It is true happiness is to do what youlove to do. However, it's only one side of story, the other side always remainsin darkness... Just like moon, we only see the brighter side of it.

There are millions other whowaste their potentials and talent just by following their heart andlikings.

No one is a Steve Jobs untilhe/she becomes a CEO of the Apple. The person remains a broken guy who goes toHare Krishna temple in search of good food. The point is, you essentially needa success story. There are many talented guys who are much more creative andactive but they remain unknown till their last breath - living in a Oakwoodbanglow of North America or doing some tricks of Dharavi Slum of Mumbai. Theseguys are no less but things didn't click with them or they didn't think beyondthe horizon.

The point is, you needeverything: the heart, the hunger, the dream and the timing. In short you needa logical thinking. Following your heart is fine, but it must be in accordanceof existing system and need.

Life is like a timer, manypeople rush to collect money and consume material. But for what? A top officialwho has raised billions by graft, living a plush life with all sorts offacilities at his disposal, Deep inside he knows how cheap he is. Till lastbreath, even along with all his ego, he will know his crimes. We can cheat theworld but not ourselves.

Compare that with a simpleHead Constable performing his duties properly even if he is in a departmentwhere nothing matters but corruption. He might have a hard time collecting hisresources but he knows he has never cheated anyone; his self image would bemuch brighter and his head would be held high even at the deep inside ofintrospection and realization. Here, both guys followed their heart. At the end what mattersis your very own 'self' and your honesty with it. And this 'aham' is connectedwith everything in this universe through our consciousness.

We are lucky to be born inIndia where such teaching come with the everyday life (Though it isdeteriorating with the time). We don't realize, but we practice it and it is inour genes now. An Argentinian friend was amazed to see the peace andcooperation in a slum life of Mumbai. Another American friend said the samewhen he visited Delhi's densely populated ghettos.

The philosophy of 'AhamBramhashmi' and 'Shivoham' are the superior concept which can't be understoodby westerns including Islamic, Jew, Christians, Roman or any other religions,sects or philosophies.

Considering self as anuniverse and performing the duty of daily life with 'Namaste' (Naman-Astitva=respecting the others existence) is the best for humanity, the true self withrighteous life.Being universal in approach, with equal respect for everyoneinclusive of their existence should be the way of life. Our petty problems suchas demand, love, desire, lust, expectations and disappointment all becomesolvent on this state of mind. A yogi who live like detached personin Himalayas is not a fool, the tranquility of mind comes with alonger practice and understanding. With a disturbed and criminal-to-selfconsciousness, your all materialistic achievement are fake, you would die likebillions have been.... All that matter is: Be yourself, respect others andnever cheat your heart.

Our Indian Blind-Faith

I don't wonder why an useless dynasty has been ruling India since 1947, which gave us national disaster like Kashmir issue. Needless to say the family ceded a greater part of Laddakh to China, Chickened on Tibet annexation. (Read Nehru's role in it. )

For the first few decades this party only won as 'the party who got freedom for us'. The name was important 'Indian Natioanl Congress'. Even Gandhi ji knew the repercussion of misusing the name of national movement and suggested dismantling it. But Nehru had long term plans for his shrewd and dirty socialist mind. He had launched his daughter in to politics by then, keeping the name was easiest way to win again and again.

The family did nothing but to seal its imprint on the minds of every Indians. Development and progress was never an issue. Kept half of population uneducated, poor and malnourished till date! And still manage to fool most of voters on quotas.

Are we growing backward? Or India has been developing in retrograde direction? List of backward castes has been growing rapidly. Now a religion which colonized and ruled India for thousand of year is new on backward. This communal move is not noticed or being named 'communal' by public opinion makers as they are pet to the power and they know only congress know to rule.

We Indians are less god fearing and much more govt fearing. This utter faith in govt is so deep that most of the time we sacrifice our rights to live with dignity and other fundamental rights. Carrying forward the colonial rule, the ruling dynasty ensured that they would keep ruling India at least for a century. There's not governance in India, its all about ruling Indian, literally ruling. Govt officials are neo-colonial agents, their entire attention remains on money making process and 'better postings'. By providing lateral-vertical quotas in those top-job the govt ensure that affluent-class from all caste would be with them.

The state of the judiciary is much more horrifying. Here judge can give any judgement which may be not in accordance with the fact, evidence or even the justice. I happened to be at Supreme Court of India for the first time and landmark judgement was to be read by KG Balakrishnan than CJI. And he totally failed all my remaining faiths in judiciary. His verdict was the language of govt. The questions, why quota being increase despite further socio-economic development, on what basis such quotas are being given, income-expenditure of others and OBCs are same, than why quota, land owning is also equal then how they are OBC, why OBC list increasing, if decades of reservations failed to meet the cause, why to increase it further! - all these question were raised by best lawyers, evidences were produced but this guy gave judgement in totally govt tune. I was feeling disgusted about the judiciary... Other judges raised some points too. My fiends where hopeful about those points, but I knew, it was a purpose for KJB and his ruling were only applied. And every single indian accepted this with all their heart and soul. I saw this jungle-raj way of govt and I continued to dissent on it. I wrote articles and posted my opinions on some Social Media platforms. But I was shocked to see some guys who were part of the movement led by us, attacked me: how can you question the Supreme Court that too the CJI. But I knew the reason of their blind faith, I replied I see, what you can't see!

Arbitrary policy judgement is not just single case of blind faith. Go to any district office, no one is responsible for the work. And you can't do anything about it. The cut goes from district to the CM. The political scam-sters has not punished till date and it would never be, if the current system continues.

India is probably the only country where the talent is discouraged on the basis of its identity. Much more (sometimes three times) scoring candidates are being denied admissions and jobs. All these strengthen the vote bank and faith for 'the family'. The rhetoric also help in poping up of useless leaders like Lalu and Mayawati who know nothing but self worshipping on public money! But our blind faith for democracy remains intact!

There are some unanswered questions why this dynasty has kept entire India in its fixed fist:

1. Why colonial administration and judiciary meant for suppression and extortion kept intact?

2. Why 75% of Penal code belong to colonial regime? Are we Indian meant be oppressed the govt?

3. Why less educated guys, IAS are granted with utmost power to manipulate anything?

4. Why absolute power to bureaucrats: specially the collectors/ DCs? What govt mean to collect and rule with sticks?

5. The society acts, arms act and several other regulation with society, culture and association as old as 1790s?

There are several such questions to be answered by all 14 Loksabhas. But instead of correcting the tyrannical colonial rule, our most blind-faithed PM Dr Manmohan Singh went UK and express his gratitude for establishing the ruling mechanisms for Indians. It was obvious to understand, as his the most loyal PM for the family.
And all these are not just by fluke, it was well planned and executed. Else there had been no need to rename Congress (Indira) to Indian National Congress.

The Politics over Food Security

Withgrowing population and shrinking resources, the issue of food security is verycrucial for developing countries like India. It became utmost urgent when thereare very less institutions for social security.

Atpresent, the government have introduced many such programmes appearing associal welfare programme, but in real, all are designed with stingy stringsattached. I happened to be at a national seminar organized by WTO centre ofIIFT, ‘Seminar on Prospects of India’s Agriculture Export In 2025:Opportunities, Challenges and Roadmap’. During this seminar I got valuableinputs on some of these programmes. (Detailedreport can be obtained from organizers, this discussion on only focused toMNREGA and Food Security Bill).

Thediscussion and presentations on ‘Agriculture and Farmers’ it was explained thatartificial shortage of manpower and increased cost of manpower has happened dueto MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act). Themarginal farmers and mid-size farmer are the most affected group, while it hasno impact of big farmers. The non-farm activities of rural areas are also badlyaffected by this programme.

Asper my analysis, the MNREGA not only weakening the agrarian economy but it is alsobreaking the independent support system of rural communities. Now, the landlesslabourers, unemployed, and farmer-cum-labourers are entirely dependent on thisunproductive external help. The middle-man’s cut by bureaucrats and politicalleaders is regular sin as it happen with all government programmes. If suchnegative programme is intentionally being pushed by government, knowing itslong lasting impact, there is only one reason behind it: the electoral gains.Return of UPA government proved this fact.

Now,moving on the proposed ‘Food Security Bill’ by NAC... this bill is loaded with thesame motive visible through the analysis of its different aspects.

Asone of the speakers, Dr Himanshu from CSRD, JNU, pointed out that the distribution aspect isvery important for food security, because agriculture production is higher thandemand today. Despite this the calorie consumption is declining, which showsthat surplus distribution is not being done. However, the proposed food security bill by NAC, he saidthat providing food grains through Public Distribution System (PDS) only toBPL/APL households would not address the real problem. It is rather aretrograde step which can lead to higher corruption, inaccessibility for thepoor, and mismanagement of procured food grains. According to him,universalisation of PDS, and not targeted PDS, as currently practiced, is thebest way to ensure the food security. A universal PDS is not only the bestpossible option from the perspective of a rights based approach, it is also farmore realistic in its commitment to ensure food security for the poor. He citedthe examples of universalisation from MNREGA and RTE. It is not justified tolimit food security only to BPL families. Limiting food security for BPLfamilies has severely impaired the effective access to food for poor families.In particular, large numbers of poor families did not have BPL cards and evenwhen they had cards, access to PDS was not automatic; and even if they hadaccess to the PDS, they did not receive the full entitlement of food. He showedthat universalisation of PDS is feasible, even at current rates of procurementby the Government. He stressed that universalisation is not only feasible butit is desirable too – it will ensure lower leakages and better off-take by thepoor and it will also be within the procurement and fiscal constraints. As itwill cover the entire population, it will be in line with the larger objectiveof ensuring food security for all.

Ifurther studied the successful case studies of universal PDS by Chhatishgarhand Tamil Nadhu. Even the food items were available for all, the Above PovertyLine population dint use the facility in both states. The NAC and government isadamant on making ‘Food Security’ exclusive, would hurt only the poorest whohave no political power, knowledge and presence. Despite these obvious suggestions governmentis eyeing on the vote bank, the identity politics is on the minds of NACmembers. BPL is targeted group here, just like caste and religion reservation, notwithstandingwith the fact that none of the actual deprived take those reservations inhigher education and higher posts, the only motive of government is theelectoral one.

When people of India are more concern about systematic corruption and loot by bureaucracy and politicians, the Indian media reporting about all possible distractions. Right from bringing porn star to TV reality show to printing reports about sex lives of Hollywood stars. Last Sunday Hindustan Times publish a report on 'Japanese men are losing interest in sex' ... Though that news is almost one year old.

Why such ostrich-attempt by media? They are involved in not only fixing public opinion but also ministers posts. Radiia tapes revealed some of them and unethically they continued to appear on shows everyday. Indian media is worst than Syrian or Libya media. However, this article is intended to focused on 'endangered male' especially the 'Indian manly man'. When Sagarika started playing with twitter, her first target was 'Indian Male'. Japanese are concerned when men gave up sex, Indian feminists intend the same. In case you are male, and don't have any socio-political identity of Muslim, SC, ST or OBC than god save you in India.

The agony doesn't ends with partial treatment and unaccountable victimisation, it also make way to mass scale generalisation. If a handful of criminals do some rape or murder, all males from Delhi come under fire from those enlighten feminist and political-fixture-cum-journalist women who once used lewed males for their fast track progress.

All feminist, secular and leftist women look at a common Indian male with the cursing glance. Story doesn't ends here... With anti-male legislation, 70% innocent males are in jails now as anti-dowry act don't need any investigation or proof for women registering the case.

I have all respect for the women who are women and not the men-haters. Males have much shorter life expectancy and they need to be treated with little more dignity. Its not just me, even scientists are saying about extinction of male species from human-race. Good News for militant feminists but sad for others... Men will be extinct in future, therefore appreciate them now.

Anna, we are the youths who have great hope from your satyagrah, Who went on vigils at Tihar, Ramlila Maidan, India Gate and Jantar Mantar. We still have our support for you...

However, we are deeply hurt by your team being accommodating political tricks of reservations and secularism. And I think you must clear it first, if you differentiate corruption charges based on caste and religion. If you don't differentiate, why there is a need to caste quota and ullema quota in your team.

I have great respect for Arvind Bhai, have been detained by Delhi police on several accounts together... Be it RTI movement or 'cash-for-vote' issue. However, the recent development withing the protest team to be explained.

Four years ago, when 40-50 thousand youths gathered in Delhi demanding equal treatment in education, they were treated with water cannon and tear gas bombs. No one from 'civil' society or political parties raised their issue... Not even you Anna! The problem of corruption lies in root cause of caste, creed and religion being manifested in bureaucracy, politics and public life. You tell me, if I score 90% and get denied of admission despite my economic adversaries and those who are rich and score just about 30% get admission - What is the logic, can you control corruption without treating everyone equal?

Those who cry about social justice through reservations, must note that stop fooling the common man. Reservations are there only to leverage caste sentiments. There are only few thousands of seats in IITs, IIMs and central universities. Few hundreds in state and central civil services. To get benefits of these facilities there are millions of rich families from each and every caste. In several accounts thousands of them taking it since generations.

If Shastri ji had born today, despite his hard work, being a poor unreserved candidate he could not have made it anywhere. It was just a single example how misuse of caste, creed and religion taking place... And they know it all.

Anna, tired of all bullshit I along with my thousands of friends come to you in August 2011. But what we got today... If you don't clarify and rectify your fight on political accusations, I see no hope. Even if your Lokpal come, things will be same.

My heart is not broken by this chameleon behaviour of your team, I had already done my national movements and protests. Country today needs Azad and Bhagat, else a Gandhi along with several Nehrus and Ambedkars will divide this nation again.

After recent verbal attempt of Minister Kapil Sibal to silence all dissenting voices, India too have come under category of Iran, Pakistan and China type authoritarian regime where citizens are not allow to differ from the govt.
It is a sick sign for a democracy, which is also heartily supported by media houses. The role of these media houses have been exposed as power broker in fixing ministers posts. Radiia tapes have already brought this fact to the public. Nevertheless such media houses and journalists continued to practice as they have been manipulating public opinion in favour of ruling party especially the ruling family.
But why this recent attempted to curtail common voices? This govt has been involved in unexplained serious scandals. For some of these scandals, few union ministers are facing criminal charges. However they got away with some of serious scandals including Black money and urban land allocations. While these scandals could have created regime changing uproar elsewhere, it was not worthy even for discussion in India as media managed the stage well for political families and government.
While european countries and tax heaven countries are ready to share information about the top money launderers, UPA govt fear to reveal it as it could expose its financiers. On social media some of old reports were leaked, which also included the black money accounts of Rajiv Gandhi. Further more the details and foreign relations of the ruling family was percolating through social media to the commoners.
This could have harmed the ever ruling dream of this family. Hence they deputed this headless minister named 'Kapil Sibal' on this task to curb all anti-family information from Social media and Internet! But will he succeed in doing so? Or citizen of India will not be fooled this time?
A big question mark on the future of freedom of speech and a free internet, however a lot depends up on our shoulders to defend the priceless freedom!

Crimes of a Lunatic Govt

The Planning Commission told the Supreme Court that anyone spending more than Rs 965 per month in urban India and Rs 781 in rural India will be deemed not to be poor. At same time Govt has increased creamy layer income up to 4.5 lakhs per year. It means, anyone from who is earning 45,000 Rs can avail all facilities, quota, preferences and reservations along with those who are earning 781 Rs per month. If the poor family earning 781 Rs per month is from non-category castes, they have to pay more for govt facilities and education compare to Rs 45,000 earning families. This gross injustice is being institutionalised by govt as poor don't form a consolidated vote bank?
However, this white lie of government can not change the reality. With skyhigh food inflation rates, every month millions of unemployed population falling into the trap of poverty. Small farmers, landless labourers, wage workers and people at the margins of economy don't get occasional hikes in their income. The pro-rich policies of present government have made more than 500 million population poor as they are force to live below the survival income in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) at Indian price. No wonder India has largest number of poor, highest number of illiterate, biggest number of malnourished children and highest deaths due to starvation.
Since, the power centre is in hand of a single dynasty with influencing effects from some corporate houses and few caste-religion mongers, government priority never include the economically weaker section of society.
In the name of social justice, this lunatic govt has only one panacea: 'the Caste Reservations'. The latest example came from 93rd constitutional amendment, which was done as top priority of this govt. This act provide quotas for OBCs in Central Universities/Institutes. It is to note that it was only for higher education. If we count all those 'reserved' seats even in these higher education institutes it won't cross even 25 thousands. This much of number can't give social justice to a single caste in India. Ultra rich from any caste can easily surpass this number. However, with the help of crooked academicians and yellow journalist govt successfully project itself as doer of social justice. Resultant caste votes yield them power again! But it was the poor who was cheated in name of social justice. A hard working SC guy coming from remote village has to compete with the son of millionaire minister or bureaucrat or businessmen from same caste. Same with the guys from OBCs. The joke of creamy layers as discussed above is to mock only their poverty. Now, think about a poor guy from general caste: he has to pay double of OBC guy and four time more of SC/ST guy. With no economic concession in education. His hard earn knowledge with limited resources is of no use as seats are reserved for those castes who even scores in negative sometimes! Jai Ho!!

Youth for Equality expresses its dissent and deep concerns over instigation of caste and communal divide by BSP and Congress party. After HRD minister Mr Kapil Sibal expressed his desire to expand the reservations limit beyond 50%, sectarian politicians like Mayawati rushed to PM for Muslim Quota and General quota. Both acts of power hungry politicians must be condemned with strong words.

In a nation where urban and rural poor are forced to live in substandard life conditions, caste quotas are meant to serve those who are already in well-to-do. The economically weaker sections are left on their own fate as they don't constitutes vote bank. These weaker section can't be made fool for long by media visits of Rahul Gandhi. Reservations in higher education and government jobs prove to be a mockery of social justice under these circumstances.

Politicians are purposefully trying to impose the elite system of caste reservations where a small segment of society taking the recurrent benefits since generations, while economically weaker sections of all castes are deprived on such benefits since independence.

Youth for Equality strongly opposes any type of caste or religion based reservations. If Reservations are given to poor people. They must be given to all poor people without asking their caste or religion. Youth For Equality warns caste and communal politicians to stay away from instigating separation in society for their mean purpose. YFE would respond to the evil design of the political hate mongers with civil protests, and electoral awareness and boycott.

Why All Politicians Are Corrupt?

Through text books and media, Congress conspired to us to believe what it wanted us to believe. They successfully injected and installed the idea of 'only congress won the freedom’ in the mind of several generation. With the help of this, they remain in power for 60 years. Slowly, they named almost all govt institution, programmes, infrastructures, public buildings after their family member. So, that half of the population which is illiterate, can assume that all is done by the party of dynasty.
The next step was making 'politics' corrupt and criminalized it. It was largely during Indira Gandhi regime which came after the fall of 'Sampurna Kranti' govt of Janta Party. Criminalization was done on caste lines; hence criminal got elected again and again. Not just within Congress party, but it influenced the regional parties as well. Lalu and Mulayam are best example of it. All of these by products were, are and will always be loyal to Congress.
Thus the stage for another thought propaganda was ready. This time ‘politics is bad’ had to be injected. They successfully did it. The objective was to keep away the aware and educated population from politics and elections. Media houses have been always working on the lines drawn by Congress party.

By saying ‘all are same’ we are shedding our electoral responsibilities to more corrupt politicians. Me and My contacts!

The whole day I went running as protester, as there is a mass scale uprising in India. Since Anna Hazare was arrested, all of us were very, very angered - therefore protests were organized in many locations of Delhi.

When it came to personal time, I turned to my work - but things where churning in my mind. When the night came I tried remembering past events. I led a similar kind of movement, tried my best to keep it a ‘collective leadership’ model. Thus, I have some mixed experiences from my past. Same things coming in my mind…

Tonight in this strange situation I am forced to remain awake for the rest of the night.

I tried earlier to boost-up a friend who is like a younger brother to me - he was in need of spiritual, moral, and psychological support. Since the conversation/explanation lasted long, I decided to stay awake for the rest of the night. First, I Watched a Si-Fi thriller movie, but than I had nothing to do. Incidentally I found that my Blackberry phonebook is full of contacts which are no longer in use. I decided to clean them. Going through the names I clearly remember the faces and associated memories. Many times I refused to delete them, but on second thought I realized that it’s not good to store useless things. How time plays a powerful role in our life!

People come to you when they see a hope in you. They follow an approach which make a process to utilize the opportunity or relationship. You need to understand their intentions. This is what I thought when I came across some of these contacts. An awful feeling ran across the thought process regarding the meaningless mean behavior of some people. When you are needed, they call you several times a day… killing hours from your limited lifespan… and then get disappear. Many of them tried to be the best person with you… all care and love.

Though I never expected a return, the presence of such contacts hurt me somehow by killing my time and diverting my attention. Tonight I have reduced my contacts from 1136 to 73. I may not need a single contact, but still this bunches of people also cared about me along with their own busy life.

With increasingly self centered life, we are facing a world where an individual is becoming more vulnerable to personal disasters like depression, anxiety, grieve, anger and insatiable worries. Interestingly all these topmost sorrows of our lives originate in our mind. We create them, we nurture them and we make them devil to fight against ourselves. Many choose to end their lives by accepting defeat in this battle, many choose a negative way of life, and millions other lose their peace of mind. Question arises, why we become our own enemies by creating such demon in mind? Well, with the help of circumstances and environment, our mind stimulates the emotions and these emotions are very naive and tender to get hurt. When our emotions are hurt, our thinking process starts hatching the negativity which creates the monster in our Mind.

In Buddhist philosophy, it is said that – “there are sorrows, and there are also the solutions to these sorrows”. Since these problems originate in our mind, it is in our hand to eliminate them. We need to witness our thought process. In Dharma (Hindu) Spirituality, it is said that watch your thought to become a man of character and control. By merely watching our thought process as unbiased witness, we can attain a condition where our thought process is in our hand. This process can be initiated by meditation. Meditation and introspection are essentials for emotional health. Always find time for a dialogue with oneself. This will bring peace in haste calmness in crowd, stability in crisis and wisdom in anger. Remember, peace of mind is priceless. Don’t allow any individual, institution, or even a cause to disrupt your peace of mind. Being calm and contained, you can contribute more than ever to those people, institutions or to any cause.

Poor and Environment : Who cares about them?

Environmental concerns are least bothered by government and policy agencies. Hence, the ecological priorities are at last place not in public policies but also on the individual sensibility as well.

Politics, caste, cricket, movies and sexual gossips are the favorite topics of educated section of Indian mass, while other masses keep themselves busy discussing fake and doctored aura of family politicians, movie stars, local goons and livelihood worries. Environment does not make it anywhere. The traditional values which had concerns about commons are on rapid way of extinction. Now, grooves are not consider sacred, rivers are no more consider lifelines and mothers. The ruthless materialism via greedy capitalism is getting into the nerves of everyone.

The concept of sustainability was so much internalized in Indian traditions to treat the commons with respect, but the western protagonists, specially the Marxists discard these ecological traditions as well… sometimes in name of secularism, sometime in name of development.

The people of margins, the poor are always the development refugee or environmental refugee. Interestingly, Marxists make their livelihood in name of these poor people. They exists in all AC govt offices, research organizations, and costly drawing rooms, they care only about surrogated western ideology of Marx. They don’t even feel pity about Indian poor who are development refugee or environmental refugee by public and private projects.

Only few days ago, India had it first environmental martyr, who chose to die instead of seeing the miners’ greedy dirt in Holy River Ganga. Swami Nigamanad died fasting against mining mafias who are still polluting the Ganga. I received information of his long fast on 40^th day of his fast, with my limited capacities, I sent mail to authorities, groups and no result. I was not surprised by such lame response on environmental issue. Our priorities are really skewed and screwed!

Delhi Traffic Police: Delivering via Social Media!

While Delhi police dont have good reputation in handling the grievances of citizens, the IT division is doing excellent job via Social Media, Phone Calls and SMS.

Recently, one rouge policemen charged and ceased my vehicle inappropriately, even though there was offense from my side. It caused me lots of inconvenience, I had to run around police stations for one week. While my complain against this act is still under process, I came to know about the Delhi Traffic Police's facebook page. I started following the posts and actions.

I was surprised to see the attentiveness and grievances disposal mechanism was being delivered via facebook seamlessly. On this page, the aware citizen can post about offensive or inappropriate acts of vehicle owners, or about some abusive policemen, or any query about the document, all matters are being addressed promptly. I must congratulate to the concern personnel and Delhi Traffic Police for using social media to approach citizens. This example is best role model for other police departments, at least the in four main metros. I wish to see the end of red-tap-ism and the rule of gundagardi from Indian police by enabling IT, Social media and People's participation.

Vigilance Approach vs Servile Attitude

Today ex-CJI Mr. Balakrishanan is back in News. I faced him in court room of Supreme Court for the final verdict on OBC quota (caste reservations) in IITs, IIMs, AIIMS and other Central Universities. The each line of his personal verdict was the language of Govt. In summery, he favored govt side despite all evidences were against the govt move. I always knew it that at the end judiciary gonna support the govt and we will accept it. The servile attitude is duped deep in our blood by colonial rulers. Even my friends dint agree with my dissent on verdict, but after the detailed study of the verdict they felt cheated in same way.

I posted my opinion on than CJI (Mr Balakrishanan's) favoritism in some social media forum. Even that group was of those who opposed castism and caste based reservations, they attacked me for raising question on judiciary's and CJI's favoritism. Though, I stand affirm on what I said, as I was talking on facts; however I was surprised by the servile sickness of Indian minds. This is the reason why all criminals who loot public money, continue to rule India for generations... and they will be ruling for many more generations. If someone have vigilance approach against these scam-sters, will be gagged and attacked.

Last night I was with my friend who is working with CISCO systems. Eventually we started discussing about the technopenure-ship in context on Indian market. The talent and potential of human resources in India is ultimate but the innovation instinct is lacking. Many a times, innovative ideas are not welcomed by already established industries. The best utilized skill for Indian human resources is – trouble shooting. All self acclaimed technocrats are indulging into this kinda work. It is not just about Indian OS, A Global Indian IT brand but also basic things are badly missing. Smaller countries like Japan, Korea, and Thailand have their keyboards in their respective scripts. But that thing seriously lack in India. Even when the Indian languages are much easier than Mandarin, Korean Thai or Japanese, we don’t have a workable Hindi keyboard. Likewise, there are many such things which are still alien to Indian land but many Indians are master practice-nor of these technologies. There is a dire need to connect the desi originality with the technical innovations.

My three months at Bangkok have been unusual for a lone single male; as my friends say here. I dint go behind any glittery thing here - material or immaterial . Rather, I joined some spiritual discourse by Buddhist and Hindu sage and monks. For me, it was a big testing time for my own self awareness. I experimented with my thoughts, work, reaction of others and survival skills in not-so-alien land. These days in Bangkok taught me a good lesson for life, 'When you take control of your own life, nothing can happen with you beyond your wish. All worries including stress, anxiety, disappointments, sadness and existential crisis, just wither away. The self awareness becomes more profound and you feel what your wish to feel. This control over own consciousness could be gained by simple meditation focused on realization of self-existence.' No one, no reason and no matter can make you sad. So, you must take control of your own life.

You think, you cry, you rejoice, your breakdown... no expectations from someone, no hope for consolation... you got to mentor your own 'run'... and you get out of emotion for further run. The motivation of a better life make the obvious dream... Nothing but a good life is fascinating, and you keep running behind it. You look at others enjoying all fun of life... you console your campaign - 'my life can wait for a good time' and you further run for the dream... and you realize that the running was the only life you had.

The real terrorists!

It is ideology which changes the fate of nations and regimes, not the political parties. Political parties may be or may not be just mere manifestation of some aspects of a particular ideology. The best example of this ideological manifestation was – the formation of Pakistan.
The ideology, which gave birth to Pakistan was not invented by Muslim League but it was founded by Sir Saiyyad Ahmad decades before it was materialized by the separatist party. This is the reason, all historians and intellectuals of modern India termed him as traitor. Interestingly, such anti-national traitor got recent facilitation at JNU, in heart of capital India by the leaders of NSUI- a student wing of Congress. I raised this questions to them too – why to celebrate a traitor's birthday. They dint reply, they knew they are just trying to re-seed that ideology once again! These people, sections of congress, leftists proudly claim to be secular – and successfully do that because our designed learning system teaches us that being pro-muslim is secularism. I think, Osama would the biggest secular person by this definition! When Pakistan has become the eye of global Islamic terrorism, the ideology of Mr Ahmed got globalized in true sense.

When I was in India, I tried to follow Urdu New paper in a week of July – to see the mood of Muslim intellectuals who spread ideological issues to majorly Muslim masses; as one of my Muslim friends told me about their indirect wrong deeds. I decided to follow the translated part of ‘Urdu Rashtriya Sahara’ in first and second week of July this year. The editorial was written by Mr Aziz Burny; about whom I had a good image as we conversed many times on my last facebook profile.
Interestingly, it was the time when ‘hired’ protester just started their stone pelting ceremony in Kashmir. However, Mr Burny choose to write about Amarnath Yatra problem and its discovery by Muslim shepherd – which was completely wrong. In same article he lashes out at RSS and BJP because Mr Chidambaram had recently termed them ‘Saffron’ terror and Mr Burny dint want to lose this golden opportunity. In coming issues of that week he continued attacking BJP while the larger concerns for Indian scenario were Kashmiri separatists that time. But he was doing it purposefully. He also raised indirect questions on Indian occupation on Kashmir by telling stories against Raja Hari Singh of Kashmir. Contrary to common mass – I realized why he is doing like that – the indirect support to those separatists. And left-secular (read it real communal) media all it secularism, BJP-RSS are novice in tackling such intellectual mass attack and nationalist intellectuals has to place to write. Such kind of wholesome effort from government, media and direct-indirect separatists would led to another division for sure – they are just waiting for demographic changes. This issue is on the pivot of democratic vulnerability.

In absence of a strong opposition, democracy could not remain democracy – it converts itself to constitutional dictatorship. Nehruvian period, the most dark period of Indian diplomacy and period of pre-emergency and during emergency of Indira period were best Indian examples of it. But progressive and ‘democratic’ left-liberal media want BJP-RSS to die – a very undemocratic wish one can have in a plural society. So, they can go beyond the limits of militant secularism and often sided with Kashmiri separatists and the ideologies of exclusive Islamic state. Hence, If you say, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ people get offended in India; but saying Salam-a-lekum, Insa-allah, Allah-Hafiz make them secular. They are not cynical just by media, but curriculum too teaches the same. The ignorant and adamant self proclaimed Hindu voices don’t have anything to address this systematic offence.

The problems of majority don’t end here, they have another group of enemies. These are newly educated and argumentative Indians who have discover the reality of congress’s secularism and also have found the reason behind blasts in Indian cities. Though, this set of people do support RSS-BJP but when they are asked publically, they straight forwardly decline to support that ideology. By doing so, they are only making spaces of separatist seculars who are becoming exclusivist day by day. Such persons are indeed foe in disguise of friends for the health of democracy.
So, what is the solution to stop this terrorist making ideology? By now, you must have an answer of it.

Ayodhya Verdict: Won, Cheated or ‘Managed’

Everyone is happy with the High Court decision about Ayodhya. The tensed environment suddenly became cheerful and people were congratulating each other - Hindus, Muslims and Govt. Lets look at why they are celebrating - Hindus were thinking that having a secular (or pro-Muslim) government whatever comes would be welcoming. But they got more than what they expected. Verdict (Including Justice S U Khan's) accepted existence of Ram temple at the disputed place. Though, it is nothing new, whole world know that Ayodhya is birth place of Shri Ram and Mecca is birth place of PBUH Muhammad. But law fearing Hindu community does not practice jihad or a nation based on religion, hence, there is no global brotherhood or even local organization among them. However, for Muslims, there was nothing to lose. They were sure that whatever comes, even one-tenth of its part would be victory for them. Hence they congratulated. In fact, this controversy is solely result of adamant behaviour of Muslim bodies.
Much before Islam was discovered or Muhammad was born in Saudi Arabia, there were temples of Ram in Ayodhya. The objective of Islam, to convert whole world into Islam drove them for bloodiest invasions and attacked to non-Islamic nation-states. In medieval period, Asia, Europe and Indo-China was conquered by brutal Islamic forces and converted to Islam. The existing institutions of worship such as temple, church, Buddhist stupas and vihars were destroyed and Mecca facing mosques were erected on demolished structure. A mosque nearby Qutab Minar is best example in Delhi. Such examples could be found at any historical place in India. Defaced statues tell the real horror story of that time. Due to Bhakti Movement (Thanks to Tulasi, Ramdev, Surdas, Kabir and Meera) main land India still remained unconverted even after paying huge Jajia Taxes and brutality of barbarian rulers. The fringe areas, Gandhar (Afganistan), Panchal (Sindh-Punjab) and Bengal was largely converted due to maximum impact of Islamic brutality and taxation. Entire mid-east, Malaysia, Indonesia converted to Islam during same period. In modern times, the tendencies of global Islam remain the same - the ultimate objective of Islamic world. Iranian revolution made Islamic fundamentalism a political force from Morocco to Malaysia. (Reference - Nasr, Vali; The Shia Revival, Norton, (2006), p.121) In this perspective any gain at Ayodhya would contribute to the global Islamic agenda, hence Sunni Wqaf Board too feel elated.
However, the roles of government in doctoring court’s decision become questionable. The appointment of Justice S U Khan in the panel was a cleaver move and justice Khan didn't disappoint govt either he nicely but irrationally put his Islamic agenda. As reported by Indian Express 'Justice S U Khan said the mosque had been built by, or on the orders, of Babar but not by demolishing a temple. The masjid, he said was built on the ruins of a temple. He also said some material of the temple, which was in ruins, was used in construction of the mosque.' Now let’s discuss the logic of justice Khan's observation. First, how a birth place temple of Shri Ram could turn into ruins. Can Kaba of Mecca turn into ruin in any history of Human being? Hinduism was the largest religion of that time (even larger than our times) and Lord Ram was in heart of all Indian. Ayodhya was among char dhams. How an educated or aware person could conclude that? I wonder. Indian history reads that whenever a foreign invader attacked Indian territories, they looted temples and demolish them. Somnath, Varanasi, Mathura are still telling the story. Even country born Muslim rulers like Jahangir (a son of Hindu mother), Shahjahan and Aurangzeb demolished many Hindu temples and made mosque in place of those temples. Babar was a looter with no intention of ruling or staying in India. But our justice Khan declares ' not by demolishing a temple'? - On what basis he says so, no one can understand. Next point of his observation about materials of that structure which was from demolished temple. But he says it was taken from ruins. Is it kidding? No ruin material is used in making new building; and certainly not in religious buildings. So, if you feel elated, please enjoy it. Celebrate our unity or whatever... but our justice system is sick and very much in terminal stage. I wonder what if there had been two Muslim judges and one Hindu judge!
Democracy/Legislative should not manipulate the justice system. However, it has become common practice in India. Not just government, even personal concerns of Judges have made many judicial disasters in India. Some famous cases include Bhopal Gas tragedy, communal reservations and limits of reservations, communal budgeting, and caste census. This tendency appears as managing and manipulating to keep everyone happy at the cost of common man’s life. It is suicidal for democracy and unity of the country as well. On the Ayodhya issue they have just postponed the disaster to get it maturity and severity.

Nurturing the anti-national elements: Maoists in capital

Summery: Even knowing the fact that the recent incidents of Kashmir was sponsored and instigated by Jihadi terrorists groups like Hizbul Mujahideen, these handful of guys were voicing the 'Kashmiri-Nationalism' and crushing Indian state of being expansionist.

LAST NIGHT there was a bizarre event organised by Maoists-Naxalite groups at Jawaharlal Nehru University. This was a ‘march’ in support of Kashmiri separatists. All India Student Association (AISA), a student outfit of CPI(ML) and Democratic Student Union, a student wing of banned CPI(Maoists) were the organisers. All anti-Indian slogans were raised. It may seem quite strange to outsiders, but for a JNU student it has became a habit to see these two organisations abusing the very idea of national integration. Even knowing the fact that the recent incidents of Kashmir was sponsored and instigated by Jihadi terrorists groups like Hizbul Mujahideen, these handful of guys were voicing the ‘Kashmiri-Nationalism’ and holding Indian states as expansionist and repressive.

DSU has been always writing against 'Indian State' and 'Indian Nation' though this organisation has less than ten members but since all of them belong to elite families they have all financial and legal protection, even JNU administration can’t dare to ask them a question. The other organisation AISA is well know for its opportunistic stand on pro-Maoist and anti-Maoist issues. However, all its tricks are to get the support from different sections of student community. The much controversial celebration of the killings of Central Reserve Police Force men by Naxals was also organised by these two leftist organisations. The common student is not confused why they are supporting Kashmiri separatists. This support offered by them is as an aid to defeat India as nation so that they can have Maoist regime in near future along with the ideological support from Islamic terrorists from Kashmir and Pakistan.

Since CPI(ML) being a political party, their kids (student wing) AISA can’t write on directly offending India as nation, they have created a decoy organisation in name of 'Student for Resistance'. A pamphlet dated July 9, 2010, issued by 'Student for Resistance' openly support the 'Kashmiri-Nationalism' and rejecting the existence of India as nation in any form. Further more, this pamphlet also held Indian state as 'expansionist' and 'repressive'.

At the same time, these groups completely ignored the bigger violation of humanity by Maoist when they killed 26 men by blast. They remain silent on this issue as student community condemned and rejected their celebration of killings last time. Their hypocrisy is further exposed when it comes to the rights of Kashmiri minorities and forceful obstruction of Amarnath Yatra by very same Kashmiri separatists. The question remains unanswered – why we are taking the bigotry crap of such offenders in the name of freedom of expression? Why such selective human rights drama to be continued using the university facilities financed by Indian state using the money of Indian tax payers. May be they have connections in academic administration or they have sympathisers in the same ‘Indian-state’ system... but for an Indian citizen it is too painful to see such paranoid drama in the name of politics.

काँच की बरनी और दो कप चाय - एक बोध कथा

जीवन में जब सब कुछ एक साथ और जल्दी-जल्दी करने की इच्छा होती है, सब कुछ तेजी से पा लेने की इच्छा होती है , और हमें लगने लगता है कि दिन के चौबीस घंटे भी कम पड़ते हैं, उस समय ये बोध कथा , "काँच की बरनी और दो कप चाय" हमें याद आती है । दर्शनशास्त्र के एक प्रोफ़ेसर कक्षा में आये और उन्होंने छात्रों से कहा कि वे आज जीवन का एक महत्वपूर्ण पाठ पढाने वाले हैं...उन्होंने अपने साथ लाई एक काँच की बडी़ बरनी (जार) टेबल पर रखा और उसमें टेबल टेनिस की गेंदें डालने लगे और तब तक डालते रहे जब तक कि उसमें एक भी गेंद समाने की जगह नहीं बची... उन्होंने छात्रों से पूछा - क्या बरनी पूरी भर गई ? हाँ... आवाज आई...फ़िर प्रोफ़ेसर साहब ने छोटे-छोटे कंकर उसमें भरने शुरु किये, धीरे-धीरे बरनी को हिलाया तो काफ़ी सारे कंकर उसमें जहाँ जगह खाली थी , समा गये, फ़िर से प्रोफ़ेसर साहब ने पूछा, क्या अब बरनी भर गई है, छात्रों ने एक बार फ़िर हाँ.. कहा अब प्रोफ़ेसर साहब ने रेत की थैली से हौले-हौले उस बरनी में रेत डालना शुरु किया, वह रेत भी उस जार में जहाँ संभव था बैठ गई, अब छात्र अपनी नादानी पर हँसे... फ़िर प्रोफ़ेसर साहब ने पूछा, क्यों अब तो यह बरनी पूरी भर गई ना ? हाँ.. अब तो पूरी भर गई है.. सभी ने एक स्वर में कहा..सर ने टेबल के नीचे से चाय के दो कप निकालकर उसमें की चाय जार में डाली, चाय भी रेत के बीच में स्थित थोडी़ सी जगह में सोख ली गई...प्रोफ़ेसर साहब ने गंभीर आवाज में समझाना शुरु किया - इस काँच की बरनी को तुम लोग अपना जीवन समझो... टेबल टेनिस की गेंदें सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग अर्थात भगवान, परिवार, बच्चे, मित्र, स्वास्थ्य और शौक हैं, छोटे कंकर मतलब तुम्हारी नौकरी, कार, बडा़ मकान आदि हैं, और रेत का मतलब और भी छोटी-छोटी बेकार सी बातें, मनमुटाव, झगडे़ है..अब यदि तुमने काँच की बरनी में सबसे पहले रेत भरी होती तो टेबल टेनिस की गेंदों और कंकरों के लिये जगह ही नहीं बचती, या कंकर भर दिये होते तो गेंदें नहीं भर पाते, रेत जरूर आ सकती थी...ठीक यही बात जीवन पर लागू होती है...यदि तुम छोटी-छोटी बातों के पीछे पडे़ रहोगे और अपनी ऊर्जा उसमें नष्ट करोगे तो तुम्हारे पास मुख्य बातों के लिये अधिक समय नहीं रहेगा... मन के सुख के लिये क्या जरूरी है ये तुम्हें तय करना है । अपने बच्चों के साथ खेलो, बगीचे में पानी डालो , सुबह पत्नी के साथ घूमने निकल जाओ, घर के बेकार सामान को बाहर निकाल फ़ेंको, मेडिकल चेक- अप करवाओ.. छात्र बडे़ ध्यान से सुन रहे थे.. अचानक एक ने पूछा, सर लेकिन आपने यह नहीं बताया कि "चाय के दो कप" क्या हैं ?प्रोफ़ेसर मुस्कुराये, बोले.. मैं सोच ही रहा था कि अभी तक ये सवाल किसी ने क्यों नहीं किया... इसका उत्तर यह है कि, जीवन हमें कितना ही परिपूर्ण और संतुष्ट लगे, लेकिन अपने खास मित्र के साथ दो कप चाय पीने की जगह हमेशा होनी चाहिये ।

Government of India: A family enterprise!

The history of this enterprise goes back to pre-independence times. The psychological approach of British rulers was well-planned for implanting a servitude mindset among Indians to sustain their exploitative regime for longer time. Though Gandhiji’s bias for prospective first prime minister of India was insatiable, however, he knew the large scale misuse of the poster name of Indian Freedom struggle. He suggested dismantling Indian National Congress and starting afresh political structures for India to be multi-party democratic country. It is a widely accepted fact that this fellow wanted to keep the power in his own hand and this unconvincing desire also helped in the formation of two states out of India, based on religion and religious fanaticism (‘direct action’ of MuslimLeague). The partition was culmination of British strategy to divide and rule. The electoral reservations were the tool they used for. The ruling class of India has been using the same deadly techniques to keep the Indian divided so that they could be more servile and ‘cheat and carrot’ policy of reservations would go on.

Though, this business of power is not that simple. Beside the divisive policies, the thought control is also needed. Hence, they carefully grafted improvised syllabus from schools to universities. Indian modern history is apparently history of Indian National Congress, even within that the contributions of popular and strong leaders like Tilak and Bose are purposefully suppressed.

Keeping power centre around kinship has been dealt carefully right after independence. Building and shaping public opinion via school textbooks and media proved like ace for this act. The influential babus, unduly regarded doctors and engineers do have impact on their families and also on common people. Ironically, many of the people coming from the ‘educated’ section of society are only aware of that ‘doctored’ textbook history of modern India and freedom struggle. Much more popular and efficient leaders of Indian National Congress have been denied any place in these textbooks, while family point is emphasized again and again in them. Rest of the work is accomplished by media. Whether the ‘son’ of this family is eating in dalit’s kitchen, or he is looking good in clean-shaven or not, or making anything news to keep him in public – all these are well planned. And our immature civil-society is okay with all these fine tricks of molding public opinion. One fine example could be taken from the NCERT textbook of XII; ‘Modern India’ published during 1996 and was in course until 2002: ‘Jawaharlal Nehru was now made president of congress at historic Lahore session of 1929. This event had its romantic side too. Son had succeeded father marking a unique family triumph in annals of modern history’ (page 245). Don’t these lines seem like an advertisement of the particular family?

The big giroh of our generation ‘babus-doctors-engineers-professor-media’ has grown up reading such romantic lines in schools. It is expected from them not only to accept the hereditary supremacy of such romantic happenings again and again but also to defend it in all possible ways. This section of society is also a big impediment for the formation of a strong civil society. Their orientation towards servitude and nepotism is strongest as it may serve them for few personal favours. The traditionally servile groups have provided a room for political class to create artificial demand of social upliftment hence, making caste politics an inevitable feature of Indian democracy. No matter how big the scam they commit, none of politicians has been punished so far. The Lakhu-Bhai cheating case was an ultimate example, when the complainer died with the hope of justice and the alleged cheater died later hence case closed. At present time several other cases are going to meet the same fate. All of these pillars of government are proved to be complementary to each other, when it comes to save the skins of politicians or their family.

This tradition of nepotism has been percolated and replicated not only in politics but also in judiciary, academics, administration and all other sectors of public importance. The submissive acceptance of this undemocratic and unjustified tradition has become the natural habit masses. The public opinion has been trained to accept this kinship enterprise, and nepotism do not amount to undemocratic or corrupt ways of functioning at all level.

At the time when we have a relatively open media source like internet, hundreds of youth and knowledge seeking people are getting educated by various different sources. Blogs, social networkings are defiantly educating this lot which was otherwise ignorant or was misguided by pseudo-educated babu-giroh. However, these guys go up to offending others who dared to speak about the wrongs during partition of India, Indo-China war, Kashmir Issue or even LTTE-Indian forces fiasco.

Lalu’s wife or Mulayam’s son and daughter-in-law or Karunanidhi’s great sons are just replica of the great Indian political tradition. Recently Tharoor’s girl-friend favour was another romantic turn of this ever continuing family story. At present context, the son and daughter of minister is bound to hold key political figure be it Loksabha chair, some key ministries like to chocolaty young turks who hardly know the real India or Chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Maharashtra – everywhere this family enterprise is flourishing well.

Though, opposition has been raising this issue, their point is limited to individual attack and objections have one-dimensional perspective on this serious matter. They might be taking this issue out of their interest, but in fact they are having no solution hence they are hypocritically opposing it. However, this monarchial and elitist tradition is causing a great harm to our ‘democratic’ ethos. The families will be controlling all of the political business, while entry to electoral politics will be in their hands. According to the present trend, this business is going to be stronger with implementation of several quotas and exceptions for electoral politics.

While most of the educated families keep themselves away even from voting, the few uprising of civil society including Jessica Lal murder case and other similar cases were just outbursts of frustration, when people organized and expressed their dissent against government and the biased justice system. Though, the waking up of civil society is very slow and is limited to only small localized incidents, the process it picking up with steady rate. Relatively, the more rational new generation seeks knowledge beyond textbooks, they are doing their own analysis of news and they seek transparency beyond their personal gains. This process could be speedy and more visible, if the new generation starts participating in electoral processes.

शायद मैंने तुम्हे बताया था कि system के खिलाफ लड़ने कि सनक मुझे पहले से ही थी। लेकिन अर्जुन सिंह और कांग्रेस के आरक्षण वाले फरमान ने सबको झकझोर दिया। पैसे वाले लोगों को कम नंबर पर ही admission मिलने वाला था और बाकियों को अधिक नंबर लाने के बाद भी गली का धुल फांकने को मजबूर किया जा रहा था। गुस्सा आना स्वाभाविक ही था। फिर हम लोगों के पास आन्दोलन के अलावा कोई चारा भी नहीं था। वे बहुत महत्वपूर्ण दिन थे जब हम साथ साथ हवालात गए, water cannon की मार सहे। हजारों लोग साथ थे, सबको गुस्सा था, सब मेंआक्रोश था। किन्तु समय बीता, सब अपनी अपनी राह में चले... कुछ विदेश गए। कुछ ने MNCs की नौकरीपकड़ी। किन्तु तुम और तुम्हारे जैसे दीवानों ने तमाम बाधाओं के बावजूद जंग को जारी रखा। कौन जाता है बिहारमें बाढ़ आती है तो, किसको पड़ी है अगर नेता लोग अपराधी हैं... ये हमारा दीवानापन ही था हर्ष, की हम लोग की लड़ाई Youth For Equality के माध्यम से सालों तक चलती रही और आगे भी चलेगी।
मुझे अब भी याद है, देर रात को मैं फ़ोन कर के बोलता था- हर्ष भाई, कल हम लोग सभा रखे हैं आप जरा मीडीया वालों को बता दो और तुम भी चले आओ... या फिर - एक JNU का बन्दा बहुत बीमार है, वो है तो हम लोगो काविरोधी, लेकिन AIIMS में जरा उसकी मदद कर देना... या फिर हर्ष भाई! AISA वालों ने मेरे खिलाफ व्यक्तिगत पर्चे निकाले हैं, मैं क्या करूँ.... और भी बहुत सारे अनुरोध। और हर बार-- हाँ अमित, सब हो जायेगा घबराने की कोई जरुरत नहीं है... हम लोग हैं ना।
यार, आज हम तो हैं... तुम नहीं हो... शायद हम भी ना रहें... क्या फरक पड़ता है! तुम समझ सकते हो, जहाँ हरकोई विरोधी हो वहां अपनो को खोना सबसे अधिक खलता है। लड़ाई जारी रहेगी, मेरा वादा है... कोई साथ आये याना आये, मैं तो आखिरी दम तक लडूंगा... और हर मोड़ पर तुम्हारी याद आएगी, अब मैं तुम्हे फ़ोन नहीं करपाउँगा... नहीं मिल पाउँगा कार्यक्रम बनाने के लिए... लेकिन तुम हमेशा याद आओगे।

कल प्रोफ़ेसर खेतान ने तुम्हे याद करते हुए कहा :

तुम्हे लड़ाई आती है, इसलिए तुम हारोगे नहीं,
तुम्हे पैंतरे नहीं आते, इसलिए तुम जीतोगे नहीं।

डॉ हर्ष, आज तुम नहीं हो... कल मैं भी चला जाऊँगा... फिर भी शायद हमे आना पड़ेगा... बिना पैंतरे वाली लड़ाईलड़ने... क्यों की सबको लड़ाई नही आती!

Higher Education as Political tool: From Quota to Foreign Universities

While addressing higher education in India, things like knowledge, skill enhancement, research, teaching, learning, books, infrastructure etc are secondary issues. The primary concern is who gets what based on one’s caste. Though, the caste-call is a main feature not only of Higher education and technical education… but also in all aspects of Indian life- Politics, Jobs, House Allotments, Govt Plans, Schemes, festivals and so on!

Here, we are citing a burning example of Higher education as it has practically less related with caste-capabilities and more related with learning process. Entrance tests and admission criteria are skewed based on caste and categories. One poor Brahmin student with higher scores cannot make in best universities of India but a rich Dalit student can get through with less marks. This arrangement is not only discriminating the poor Brahmin, but also depriving the poor Dalit. The greedy people are ripping all benefits of reservations while needy still perish in poverty. Since it is easy to get sensitized the mass on caste basis, political class and intelligentsia cleverly made it the panacea of social-justice.

A gross violation of Human fundamental rights is taking place by such arrangements, but we are used to these situation and we say , ‘Aal iz Well’ to please ourselves or to please our politicians from whom we expect ‘another’ favour (Local Goons, Ration card or protection) or for some ‘Jugaad’ (Job, Tenders etc) or power-share arrangements (SC-Brahmin Coalition of UP).

Selling our soul and votes is very easy in India. So, in Indian Higher Education as well, only ‘candidates’ of VC, Head or MLAs, MPs get the teaching posts while much qualified candidates are bound to work as clerks or even security guards. (Some of caste-PhDs at JNU also demanding reservations in these jobs as well)

Owing to initiatives taken by Indira Gandhi in form of criminalization and Mandal-ization, caste-call has become the most effective tool to sensitized the folks and mobs. Arjun Singh did it in 2006 and defiantly, it added to congress’s vote bank, even though reservations in Higher Education are taken away by those who are already well to do by rest of all population. This fact was testified, when the naxalite sympathizers student organizations, AISA, DSU, and leftists SFI and congress student wing NSUI, BJP student wing ABVP opposed university administration for form fee hike. Administration offered free forms to those who belong to poor families. And you know what? Not a single form was taken free on this criterion. The fact was exposed! Rich families are taking Higher Education benefits and these families do not deserve any kind of quota.

Since vote hungry politicians wants caste groups in their side, everyone was in race of demanding more reservations for OBC – left-right and middle (read it confused) congress. Even they attempted to murder on a student who was among the opposition organization called Youth For Equality.

Families of those crazy 70 Gurjjar, who died during the movement of demanding reservation, would never be able to harness any fruits of reservation! 5 percent is enough for Captains, Majors, MLAs, MPs, government officers and well to do people among them. We have a live example of SC reservation, few thousands of families taking all reservations while poor SCs along with poor non-SCs-STs-OBCs are alienated from education and employment.

The opposition of reservation legally died when Honorable Supreme Court followed the government shoe setting aside the questions that it earlier asked! But Higher Education remain a political tool for government. Last attempt was the inception of deemed universities, which was exposed with huge frauds. Any profit making entity enters into education sector, will try to maximize the benefits. Education has forward and backward linkage with society, culture and economy. While maximizing profits, none of private entities will take care of those responsibilities. This is why we see only engineering, medical and management are prominent among these ‘educational-enterprises’. Some of them also have economic in name of social sciences, which is another earning subject. So, are these few course comprise of Higher Education? Or it is a long lasting policy to make educated clock bound workers who can only think of money all the time.

After such experiments, government is going for foreign university bill. This step is complementary to its quota gambit and private universities plan. Why a foreign university will open office here in India? - to maximize their profit! Already Indians are paying billions of dollars in UK, US, New Zealand and Australia. With skewed structure of the courses they offer, it will be a big mistake to see them as agents of quality improvement of Indian Higher Education.

Even on this existing framework, the existing faculties IITs and IIMs will be attracted through higher pays and facilities by foreign universities. And these globally esteemed government institutions will lose their importance and contribution to Higher Education with second class teachers and more quota and juggad. The state and central universities are already fallen on the matter of faculty recruitment, the favorite of panel get the job while other candidates complete the formality of interview in 30-45 seconds. Best example: Delhi University and colleges

These issues remain unanswered to us and if still we are saying ‘Aal iz Well’ our future generations will feel sorry about our dumb attitude and insensitive thinking about knowledge, society, culture and self-pride.

What can be done in this regard? The present form of governance leave no scope for civil societies or public opinion to intervene into such matter and government is sole authority to decide everything on every issue, even if the matter has long lasting impact on people life. This control could be easier by appointing supportive judges at Supreme Court. The commission and inquiry committees are made of further ascertain of government intentions. Best examples are Mandal Commission, Sachhar Commission, Mishra Commission and so on. The aware and vocal intelligentsia is easily pacified with academic appointments and powerful postings. The remaining media and their poster boy/girls will always do, whatever the government tells to do so. Thus, the governance system is authoritarian in many aspects, and governance design is made to rule India with full ‘iron frame’ control as predecessor British rule did.

In this situation, we are left with very less options. In short term, we have to educated ourselves about the issues, analyze the motives of ruling political party, and propagate it among educated masses. And in long run, we have to sensitized the electoral intervention among the politically sleeping section of the society.

Ssu-ma Ch`ien gives the following biography of Sun
Tzu:
Sun Tzu Wu was a native of the Ch`i State. His Art of
War brought him to the notice of Ho Lu, King of Wu. Ho
Lu said to him: “I have carefully perused your 13 chapters.
May I submit your theory of managing soldiers to a
slight test?”
Sun Tzu replied: “You may.”
Ho Lu asked: “May the test be applied to women?”
The answer was again in the affirmative, so arrangements
were made to bring 180 ladies out of the Palace.
Sun Tzu divided them into two companies, and placed
one of the King’s favorite concubines at the head of each.
He then bade them all take spears in their hands, and addressed
them thus: “I presume you know the difference
between front and back, right hand and left hand?”
The girls replied: “Yes.”

Sun Tzu went on: “When I say ‘Eyes front’, you must
look straight ahead. When I say ‘Left turn’, you must face
towards your left hand. When I say ‘Right turn’, you
must face towards your right hand. When I say ‘About
turn’, you must face right round towards your back.”
Again the girls assented. The words of command having
been thus explained, he set up the halberds and battle-
axes in order to begin the drill. Then, to the sound of
drums, he gave the order “Right turn.” But the girls only
burst out laughing. Sun Tzu said: “If words of command
are not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood,
then the general is to blame.”
So he started drilling them again, and this time gave the
order “Left turn”, whereupon the girls once more burst
into fits of laughter. Sun Tzu: “If words of command are
not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood,
the general is to blame. But if his orders ARE
clear, and the soldiers nevertheless disobey, then it is the
fault of their officers.”
So saying, he ordered the leaders of the two companies
to be beheaded. Now the King of Wu was watching the

scene from the top of a raised pavilion; and when he saw
that his favorite concubines were about to be executed, he
was greatly alarmed and hurriedly sent down the following
message: “We are now quite satisfied as to our general’s
ability to handle troops. If We are bereft of these
two concubines, our meat and drink will lose their savor.
It is our wish that they shall not be beheaded.”
Sun Tzu replied: “Having once received His Majesty’s
commission to be the general of his forces, there are certain
commands of His Majesty which, acting in that capacity,
I am unable to accept.”
Accordingly, he had the two leaders beheaded, and
straightway installed the pair next in order as leaders in
their place. When this had been done, the drum was
sounded for the drill once more; and the girls went
through all the evolutions, turning to the right or to the
left, marching ahead or wheeling back, kneeling or standing,
with perfect accuracy and precision, not venturing to
utter a sound. Then Sun Tzu sent a messenger to the King
saying: “Your soldiers, Sire, are now properly drilled and
disciplined, and ready for your majesty’s inspection.

They can be put to any use that their sovereign may desire;
bid them go through fire and water, and they will not
disobey.”
But the King replied: “Let our general cease drilling
and return to camp. As for us, We have no wish to come
down and inspect the troops.”
Thereupon Sun Tzu said: “The King is only fond of
words, and cannot translate them into deeds.”
After that, Ho Lu saw that Sun Tzu was one who knew
how to handle an army, and finally appointed him general.
In the west, he defeated the Ch`u State and forced
his way into Ying, the capital; to the north he put fear into
the States of Ch`i and Chin, and spread his fame abroad
amongst the feudal princes. And Sun Tzu shared in the
might of the King.

ShivSena vs Rahul - a real time political chess play!

I love the chess! and have been an avid player during my college days. Lately, due to involvements in some political movements, I found politics is much like chess game. I am here to write a recent political chess moves, hope all readers will like it.
After much of defensive play, Wazeer (Queen) wanted an offensive move to take further advantage in the game. The Fila (Bishop) takes the initiative, pyada (pawn) was sacrificed in order to distract opposition. The Fila went back in defensive position and Wazir march in the opponent's region! Eying to a checkmate for opposition in coming few position.
Hope, by this time you have got the game. The Fila or Bishop of this game is Mr. Chavan the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. It is very easy to predict, if there is some Marathi Manush issue, the MNS and Shiv Sena will run after it like hungry vultures. This ploy effectively executed and Mr. Chavan backtracked the statements. Now it was turn of regional chauvinists like MNS and ShivSena. ShivSena was biggest looser after the rise of MNS, hence their old man hit hard verbally through his writings. Rest of media, aliening to the ruling UPA govt went on rampage against the regional chauvinistic party. Now, the ground was perfect to move for Wazir, Rajkumar Rahul. He visited Bihar under such situations, major media house were more interested in girls' sexual opinion about Mr Gandhi. The reality of his campus visits was posted by only one or media reports and by bloggers only. And the final blow was Mumbai local train visit! Have look on that visit preparations as a friend Amit Hargude found -
'More than 3000 policemen on field, road from pawan hans to bhaidas hall sanitized, CCTV specially installed for today's visit, at least 500 posters each costing atleast INR 2000 put up across the city, all this and many more for a person who is neither a CM, PM, President or even their son ...... he is just a MP from a place somewhere in UP ........ so much for the austerity drive!
Well, no one can stand the Wazir, everything is perfectly arranged. The public opinion. The crowd, no matter hes intelligent or dumb-head.
Epilogue: despite the favorable media, aide intellectuals and columnists, govt was surrounded on the issue of price rise. The apparent friend of hoarders, the Agriculture minister's statements were provided more evidences in hands of opponents. In wake of coming election and future elevation of this MP, it was a must to divert the attention of everyone and the above plot did that very well.

Comment: Speaking truth is what expected from media, but Indian media is sell out its voice... in trade with perks from government.... a bare truth can harm the religious vote bank of a particular party!

Not only that, the Swiss legislation is being produced here with very bad taste but they wont tell you- you will be arrested if you take Bible or Gita beyond the Airport in Saudi Arabia. They wont tell, in Muslim nations you are not allowed to worship in public place, if you are not a Muslims.
They must feel shameful by their bias act. But they wont! they are shameless.

Lathi-charge and tear gas on JNU students, 18 are seriously injured!

Minutes ago thousands of police forces freely lathi-charged and shot tear gas bombs on JNU students. Eighteen students including six girls are seriously injured and four others are detained by police. The issue was lame response from police on the vandalism by four goons where eve-teasing and abusing students and flashing firearms on watchmen. Students were protesting against the lukewarm response from Delhi Police.
In afternoon, some four persons in a care entered into campus, they were drinking and passing lewd comments on girls. They also misbehaved with on girl. After complaints watchmen stopped them at gate at 3.30 pm, when they were trying to escape. Incidentally I was passing by from the gate, I found those goons were fighting with watchmen, pushing them and abusing them. They also threat for dire consequences to watchmen as they told that they are relative of some ‘commissioner’. A PCR of Delhi police was parked beside but policemen present that time were mere suspect of whole fight.
Seeing the helpless situation of security guards, I asked the incharge of security guards to do at least for self protection. When watchmen retaliated and took action against those goons, another PCR came in with more constables. Instead of tackling with the goons the sub inspector bullied at me, as I asked guards to click the alcohol and pistol as it was found in their car. He used all possible bad words and his power packed dialogs against me. I was surprised to see the protection of criminals and humiliation of the victims by Delhi police. I realized that I am all alone against those goons and ten policemen. Those four goons were safely resting in police care with all protection. Later other students came in and by evening it was a big crowd, still the responsible police officers were not disclosing the names of those predators. Hoping for the assurance from Delhi police of a proper action against the criminals, more students came in, but instead of solving the issue peacefully, again Delhi police committed even bigger mistake. Students are attacked brutally with lathi and tear gas. Two students got both arms broken by police lathi. The irresponsible move was a shocking incident. Till writing of this report eight trucks and three busses of CRPF and many PCRs of Delhi police were at gate.
This incident proved once again that police are for elites! Sticks are for victims…! Protectors of Criminals, Harassers of commoners... It just reminded me of recent Manu Sharma case। We students must feel pity on our Delhi police and ‘iron frame since British Raj’.

Maharashtra Elections: Victory of Congress means what? undercover communalization or promotion of regional rhetoric!

Raj achieved what he wanted. 3. Final voting %age tally for seats where MNS won would tell us about the mobilisation.

Election results are expected. MNS is congress's child and it paid dividend to it again. Rhetoric often works in Politics. I got the news that MNS is biggest winner within Mumbai.

The theory of MNS being Congress' child is much too convenient for the BJP/SS alliance to excuse their own incompetence. It is clear that SS just couldn't mobilise people for its 'vision' [?] of Maharashtra inspite of a real weak C/NCP governance for the last 10 years atleast. SS could not even contain a green horn like MNS even if one were to go with the conspiracy theory.

BTW, Bhindranwale in Punjab was said to be a child of Congress politics and look at what happened to Punjab and Indira Gandhi.

One day I was reading History of SS; it emerged in same way... xenophobic way. Initially they targeted south Indians, after that north Indians. Later not only SS, but also national parties did the same in Mah. Halting spatial urban facilities was an attempt to curb the incoming migrant population. But they failed miserably. MNS hijacked the same tactics to play once again a rhetoric game. MNS spread this hate in all urban centres of the state.. causing deaths in Nagpur and Pune. This similarity was a bite in SS strategy.

But calling MNS a child of Congress reduces everything to sheer manipulation which I don't think the ground reality suggests. Congress will now attempt to woo the alienated Maharashtrians [36 seats in Mumbai alone] in a more attenuated way. Watch out for Raj though!

In the context of Congress' glib claim that its loan waiver for farmers helped get votes in both LS and VS elections - guess the Third front should ask why suicides in the first place. That was a bigotry statement Ishtryaque. There is no clear mandate in favour of Muslim-vad either.Be analytical a bit. Hindus doesnt just belong to BJP... congress has done much more for your quoted 'Hindutva'. Babari structure was opened by congress for puja... and many more incidents. But when there is a discussion, you should read the previous statements carefully before making any conclusive statement like this.

I think perhaps Ishteyaque was saying that nationally the major conventional Hindutva plank of BJP and its allies is not working and they are unable to attract voters as yet on other planks. Yes the Congress isn't without its stains but it is ideologically much more flexible. So people aren't buying any more into the older frameworks. But the communal divide may give way to regional divide ...

Oh dear... its becoming heated debate... getting personal... Can we make a difference between use of communal sentiments, communalism and Hindutwa? Another thing... where is this Muslim-vad? Who are the founders and prophets of this vad? Till now I have heard about Muslim appeasement by pseudo-seculars... then Sachchar Committee report. Can reject the report? We can... But what about the calls of RSS to Muslims to join the outfit? Is it Muslim-vad? The state has failed in safeguarding the interests of all the voiceless people from all the communities. It has failed in providing justice to the victims to all the oppressed. And Muslims are among them. The state has been governed by Congress, Socialists and HIndutva people as well.
Another thing... Congress is losing over 19 seats in Haryana but BJP is also losing 3 seats. In Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh its is the Hindutva Parties which are losing significantly. They employed Shivaji and Afzal Khan to create violence in the election evening in Maharashtra... Balasaheb venom was used to polarise hindus. Yet this kind of defeat means a lot.
And I ditto your point all Hindus do not belog to BJP or HIndutva separatists.

Nothing personal.. neither of us (I know about Shishir sir and myself) are political leader. But the point is, we can't just blindly support sectarian politics like the politicians wanted us to do so. They are successful with mass by creating caste and religion divide. But when we talk about mandate, certainly all together thats different from today's result.
While on communal politics, congress got the longest history. Quota in IITs and central universities was recent most part of that plot. Have u looked at Sachhar Comm. report? please read it with secular point of view, it will remind you of Jinnah. But the point is, no one out there to take these crime to masses. One day IBN published its impact on LS election and congress victory. Within minutes that report was removed from their site. I got it as i was luckily online on my twitter. It proved Congress has best control over media. But similar report published in UAE, Canada. I hope you would do some google-research on this matter too. and yes, we must not think to strengthen any of these sectarian politics but still choice is urs.

Thanks Amit Bhai, I will read the article for sure... though I have read the Sachchar Committee report and Arjun Sengupta Committee report which clearly shows that Muslims in India are as marginalised as Adivasis... I will send you Arjun Sengupta report.

Oh again a conclusive statement. I have both.. we have discussed it in JNU for three long years.
I am not a politician who got the stake neither and engineer who thinks in Boolean 0 or 1. I have independent thinking much more analytical than these political committees. So, u think Muslim is a homogeneous community and are marginalized including... Shekh, Pathans, Khans and all? and you also think Meena (a ST from Raj) are marginalized and Banias of Bihar are not? Open up and think beyond the personal sentiments. This is what I can suggest. Make me chairman of any such committee; I would prove statistically and factually that Jains (being the richest) are as marginalized as Tribal of Orissa as Sachar and Arjun Sengupta did.

Dear Amit, I am not a Muslim politician and in my at least 20 years of non-party political life my experiences has taught me not to generalise... I know it very well that no community is homogeneous... keep aside Muslims... even Baniyas of Bihar does not make a homogeneous community... nor the Adivasis of Orissa... Another thing I have learnt that we are living in a political world and each and every action of ours is a political statement. And we have to engage with this political world as creatively as we can... Cursing the political leaders for all the miseries is not going to give any relief to the marginalised and oppressed... Analysis of our actions and words... critical examination of the bureaucracy and judiciary is necessary... and critical but creative engagement with all these are essential... We cannot contribute to the marginalised and the society as a whole with our nehelism... We can ridicule the reports of any commission but cannot change the ground realities... I would like to quote Kabir here... Tera mera manva kaise ek hoi re... main kahta hun ankhan dekhi, tu kahta kagad ki lekhi... main kahta samjhawan hari, tu rakhyo urjhai re... tera mera manva kaise ik hoi re...

Thats what I wanted to say. There is no homogeneous community. Particularity that community, which was ruling before Britishers. All we need is to understand the political motives of such committees. They do all possible attempts to put these committees under carpet; but since these are used for policy making, the critical examination must be publicly done. Best example was Mandal Commission. Falsely analyzed data with just 3 % samples, and still those 3% were not available. And now we see quota everywhere… education, jobs, bureaucracy and judiciary. And who are responsible? Not just politicians only... we are equally responsible for that. we just not only keep quite due to our 'interests' but also we point finger on those who raise question on such motives.
We owe to have a better perspective on such divisive game. If we sing in tune with these political leader, who will seek the truth? If we analyze the facts, there is not a single political party which is 'secular' in same sense when India was born after division. Divisive forces are getting prominent day by day. Undercover ones like congress are more dangerous than obvious one. It is our choice to go blind on them by supporting them or to reveal the reality even at a small level.
