Six years ago, I conceptualized this idea SimpyYuva.com to empower youths about their electoral rights, employment, society and the culture. http://simplyyuva.com when I researched about existing Youth portal I found the element missing. It was a summer of our college days of JNU. While other guys went home in vacations, my entire class headed towards Himachal for the academic tour. And we have to study the physical geography. All of us were very excited as we were going to mighty Himalayas for the first time. Class was divided into several committees and I was convenor of academic committee, as I loved briefing my folks every morning about the tasks of the day. The tour was under supervision of our guru ji Prof Milap Chand Sharma, a world famous glaciers expert and our coolest professor. It was fun-learning experience as we learn geological history of the Himalayas along with the environmental importance of the mountains. We tracked up to the mouth of Beas river and also walked over the parent glacier of this river.  The natural beauty near Beas kund was amazing. Tough and rocky vertical tracking made it very adventurous. On due course, we met many mountaineering groups most on them were defence...

Environmental concerns are least bothered by government and policy agencies. Hence, the ecological priorities are at last place not in public policies but also on the individual sensibility as well. Politics, caste, cricket, movies and sexual gossips are the favorite topics of educated section of Indian mass, while other masses keep themselves busy discussing fake and doctored aura of family politicians, movie stars, local goons and livelihood worries. Environment does not make it anywhere.   The traditional values which had concerns about commons are on rapid way of extinction. Now, grooves are not consider sacred, rivers are no more consider lifelines and mothers. The ruthless materialism via greedy capitalism is getting into the nerves of everyone. The concept of sustainability was so much internalized in Indian traditions to treat the commons with respect, but the western protagonists, specially the Marxists discard these ecological traditions as well… sometimes...

Its 08-08-08...wonderful date, is not it! and I am sitting at rainwatffice of manager, Film Division, GOI.. totally soaked in rain water. Here a vedio documentary film titled 'Ramayana aur Ram sethu' is being screened for The Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, Govt. of India. It is sorry to see the difficulties faced while working against system. This movie challenges the institutionalization of stereo type secularism being promoted by government agencies which is being manifested through prorogations and actions against Hinduism. We are still waiting for final words from tribunal. It is 1.35 now.. have been sitting here since 10 AM.

Since last one week, the national news is focused on validating and un-validating the religious belief, the faith of 80 million people of India. And this time again target was Ram. Both opponent of Ram and Supporter of Ram are misusing Ram's name. One of these stupid leaders... is a leader from Tamilnadu. Since, his and his party politics is based on enmity from Hindi, Hindu and North India, he has been pushing it hard to get his agenda done. NDA, a non-rational collitions passed to much stupid legislation... and this UPA govt is trying to overtake NDA in such legislation. After Quota in higher education, separate investments and development plans for a specific religious group, this mindless govt's another step is to let the Hindu's of India feel self pity on their self..
