The biggest threat to Indian democracy!

It is an easy guess! Kattar Imandar is doing everything to kill the Indian democracy. Ironically, no one is writing about it. People who are so worried about democracy and parliament, never talk about the way democracy is undermined in the Delhi assembly.   Unlike the national parliament or other state assemblies, different sessions are not organised here. Because, it has to start with the speech of the Lt Governor. And Kejriwal won't like that. So, Delhi's legislative assembly is always at disposal of Kejriwal, whenever he wants to do his nonsense, the session is always on! He would go and do nonsense.    I wonder why Delhi BJP guys never highlight this murder and mockery of democracy! What is stopping them to do so? Since, media has power to set the narrative, he heavily pay them. Kejriwal has found the ultimate recipe of political success:  Promise to give everything free, when failed, blame others.  Give huge money to media houses so that they can't report ...

Taking India backward: Achievement of UPA

In recent years, there have been several exposes of the media-government collaboration. Some of them have been even shaming the profession of journalism. Nira Radiia, B. Dutt and many others found working in favor of ministers and the government. This nexus has been very useful for the government, as they can get away with biggest graft charges easily. After all, common people have short term memories like gold fish! One of such media guy rise up to PMO and become OSD with media in charge to PM. When everyone, among media houses and the intellectual – liberal class was silently endorsing every act of the government, Pratap Bhanu Mehta (@pbmehta ) had a late realization of it and came up with this article 'While we were silent' There is a saying in Hindi which reads, "Ek to chori, upar se seena jori." The UPA government is exactly doing the same, when OSD to PMO Mr Pankaj Pachauri blamed eminent academician and columnist Prof P B Mehta as 'he was sleeping while...

Re-introducing Simply Yuva

Six years ago, I conceptualized this idea SimpyYuva.com to empower youths about their electoral rights, employment, society and the culture. http://simplyyuva.com when I researched about existing Youth portal I found the element missing. Hence I am re-introducing it with more objectives. Authors, bloggers, poet, cartoonists and photographers are most welcome as contributor. Divisive Agendas and Educated Indians

While caste being less and less important in common lives of Indians, caste-politics is picking up and growing up to deeper depths. Education and appointments are totally casteists now, even the text book and examination papers are becoming tool for justification of caste politics and vote bank politics.             When India won freedom, entire population was poor and illiterate, regardless of its caste line. Reservations were far less and only in Electoral and public jobs. At present, 64 years down the line, Indian populous is richer and more literate and even more urban (where caste don’t even matter in real life), the caste quotas are must increased and infested all higher educational institutes even specialized agencies such as ISRO, NRSA, DRDO and all other government agencies. What is making this tendency stronger? Certainly nothing but the lust of power, which is being clinched through divisive vote bank policies....

Uttar Pradesh 2012 : Changing the wind of Indian Politics

With the largest number of Assembly and Parliament seats, Uttar Pradesh has always foretold the direction of Indian politics. Current assembly elections too are not an exception.   However, people of Uttar Pradesh dint participate much in polling until these 2012 Assembly elections. It was a huge increase at 59.48 %. Though It was bit lesser than the other four states such as Manipur (79.8), Uttarakhand  (67.22), Punjab (78.57) and Goa (81.74). As per election commission analysis UP observed highest number of increase in voters since last assembly elections, it was 45.81 % from the last assembly elections.  Credit goes to the election commission for getting maximum population of citizens into voter list. The campaign through several media helps in communicating election commission message across the masses.  Some political parties like BJP also run campaign among youths for voter awareness. Ramlakhanpal Sharma, young MLA of BJP, Varun Gandhi, you...

Exploiting the Democracy

It is needless to say Congress Party of India is an authoritarian political party. Since last thirteen years only a person from Gandhi family is heading it. And since independence only Gandhi family had control over it with a brief period of Lal Bahadur Shastri. Hence they have used the mask of democracy for their real manifestation of authoritarian rule ever since 1947. Public opinion is framed on their wishes through distorted fact feeding through text books and media houses.  The senseless comments and statements by Congress party leaders are aimed to specific electoral group. They know how to comment as nonsense and make votes out of it. When Congress party rules, there is no difference between party and government. Party become the government.  In a true democracy, despite having majority's government, every citizen has equal rights on services, facilities and resources. But Congress proudly proclaimed that minorities have the 'FIRST' right over res...

Why All Politicians Are Corrupt?

Through text books and media, Congress conspired to us to believe what it wanted us to believe. They successfully injected and installed the idea of 'only congress won the freedom’ in the mind of several generation. With the help of this, they remain in power for 60 years. Slowly, they named almost all govt institution, programmes, infrastructures, public buildings after their family member. So, that half of the population which is illiterate, can assume that all is done by the party of dynasty.            The next step was making 'politics' corrupt and criminalized it. It was largely during Indira Gandhi regime which came after the fall of 'Sampurna Kranti' govt of Janta Party. Criminalization was done on caste lines; hence criminal got elected again and again. Not just within Congress party, but it influenced the regional parties as well. Lalu and Mulayam are best example of it. All of these by products were, are and will always be loyal to Congress. ...

The real terrorists!

It is ideology which changes the fate of nations and regimes, not the political parties.  Political parties may be or may not be just mere manifestation of some aspects of a particular ideology. The best example of this ideological manifestation was – the formation of Pakistan. The ideology, which gave birth to Pakistan was not invented by Muslim League but it was founded by  Sir Saiyyad Ahmad decades before it was materialized by the separatist party. This is the reason, all historians and intellectuals of modern India termed him as traitor. Interestingly,  such anti-national traitor got recent facilitation at JNU, in heart of capital India by the leaders of NSUI- a student wing of Congress.  I raised this questions to them too – why to celebrate a traitor's birthday. They dint reply, they knew they are just trying to re-seed that ideology once again! These people, sections of congress, leftists proudly claim to be secular – and successfully do that because our des...

Government of India: A family enterprise!

The history of this enterprise goes back to pre-independence times. The psychological approach of British rulers was well-planned for implanting a servitude mindset among Indians to sustain their exploitative regime for longer time. Though Gandhiji’s bias for prospective first prime minister of India was insatiable, however, he knew the large scale misuse of the poster name of Indian Freedom struggle. He suggested dismantling Indian National Congress and starting afresh political structures for India to be multi-party democratic country. It is a widely accepted fact that this fellow wanted to keep the power in his own hand and this unconvincing desire also helped in the formation of two states out of India, based on religion and religious fanaticism (‘direct action’ of MuslimLeague). The partition was culmination of British strategy to divide and rule. The electoral reservations were the tool they used for. The ruling class of India has been using the same deadly techn...

Higher Education as Political tool: From Quota to Foreign Universities

While addressing higher education in India, things like knowledge, skill enhancement, research, teaching, learning, books, infrastructure etc are secondary issues. The primary concern is who gets what based on one’s caste. Though, the caste-call is a main feature not only of Higher education and technical education… but also in all aspects of Indian life- Politics, Jobs, House Allotments, Govt Plans, Schemes, festivals and so on!    Here, we are citing a burning example of Higher education as it has practically less related with caste-capabilities and more related with learning process. Entrance tests and admission criteria are skewed based on caste and categories. One poor Brahmin student with higher scores cannot make in best universities of India but a rich Dalit student can get through with less marks. This arrangement is not only discriminating the poor Brahmin, but also depriving the poor Dalit. The greedy people are ripping all benefits of reservations...

Welcome to Criminocracy

You say it the largest democracy of the world. It is just an illusion for self appeasement. There are many underneath facts related with our cerebral democracy. Some interesting facts: - 40 percent of Delhi 's Member of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) are having criminal records. - Before the last general elections in Uttar Pradesh alone, there were 5.3 million dead people on the electoral rolls and another 8.5 million voters listed as missing. - One in four MPs are criminal. According to a study by Bangalore-based Public Affairs Centre (PAC), an independent watchdog, almost one-forth of the over 540 people elected to India ’s current Parliament face criminal charges ranging from murder to extortion and even rape. - Indian democracy have another record. The first person to be Chief Minister, even after convicted by judicial court : Ms Jayalalitha ( C.M. of Tamilnadu) - One step ahead, convicted for highest crime of homicide, sentenced with the second highest punishment- the life ter...
