Petition for Equality and Transparency in Higher Education

Equality and Transparency in Higher Education Petition

To: Indian Citizens

The Prime Minister,
Government of India

Honorable Sir,

With due respect, we, the students of India would like to draw your kind attention to the following inherent irregularities in the present appointment process of lecturers.

1. At present interview is the only criteria for recruitment, but for one or two vacancies as many as 200 to 300 applicants are called and interviewed within 6 to 7 hours. It is impossible to judge the capabilities and abilities of a candidate within a time span of 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Quite often it is alleged that inter university discrimination is prevalent in the selection process by the board members. Selection board often prefers their own students, ignoring other competent candidates.

3. There is lack of uniform criteria among different universities and colleges to call candidates for the interview.

4. There are striking irregularities and differences in terms of application fee which in some cases is even more than 1000 rupees.

5. What is the importance of conducting NET, if it is exempted as a criterion of selection?

6. There is complete lack of transparency and accountability in the lecturer’s appointment.

7. Since appointment notifications are generally published in local/regional newspapers, a large number of aspiring candidates from other parts of the country remain excluded from the appointment process.

In view of these irregularities, it is very difficult to select a deserving candidate as a lecturer who can develop scientific temper and knowledge power among the younger generations of the society. In the present context of globalization, lecturers can play a vital role in shaping the intellectual brains for the development of a knowledge society. But we feel that the present recruitment system in this regard is neither efficient nor fair to select suitable competent candidates.

Therefore, we sincerely request you to constitute a centralized recruitment body to conduct all India examination like UPSC for the appointment of lecturers. We shall be highly grateful to you.

A Confession!

I never did what I wanted to,
Hardly have I cared to live the expectations through
Time kept changing its dimensions, I guess.
Although I was all about thoughtfulness
for weak, for poor and for helpless
I reached them, though my resources did not allow
I forgot the personal things and
manners of private affairs,
Ignored the hardships and problems of life,
to meet my consciousness, to feed my vendetta!
Here I am with only one life,
and at peak of it, I realized -
I cannot do much.. neither can my innocent efforts
things will be the same in this world,
the inertia will be greater, gravity will be souring.
The gaps, the odds have been here...
Might will be always right!
Humanity shall still fight!
And I have just one life,
Let it live for a while-
No regrets-no complaints- just day and nights!!!

Mumbat Attack: A result of Political Crisis

The Mumbai attack was a war on Indians and on very concept of India. It was latest among the several blasts happened in New Delhi, Jaipur, Bangaluru, Ahemdabad, Surat, Mumbai and other 25 towns of India. Within 2008 around two thousand people have been killed in these terrorist attacks. Each time, investigations started and NOTHING have been done for common man.
However, after each blast the crooks politicians start making their score on the dead bodies of आम आदमी . They have gone up to any extent and bring the ugly shame to nation. When Shaheed R C Sharma was killed, there were sever Netas cried foul on encounter and the sacrifice of the brave soldiers was questioned! These mongrel have X, Y, Z security and best facilities for them self's and their extended families. But look at them, how shamelessly they insult the families of brave soldiers.
This time the CM of Kerala and mad camred insulted the father of shaheed Maj Sandeep. How dare he! But he did it and don't feel sorry.. He would not, because he and all other politicians thinks that for common Indians 'सब चलता है'. Communist have record of being espionage withing India right from Indo-China war to Mumbai attack. I saw them working actively to tear the posters which was made by students of JNU to pay tribute to the great martyrs. The act of Kerala CM is highly condemnable, in fact more condemnable than Mumbai attack. He must be punished for insulting the family of the great martyr.
These pigs would rule us, as we have short memories, we forget all blasts, killings! Every time common man is killed. Every time nothing was done except increasing security to the big anti-nationals like Raj Thakarey, Amar Singh, Mulayam singh, Lalu, Paswan and all. Every time they divide us on caste lines, give the bait of quota and reservations and we just get divided and carried away. We never put them in questions... we never held them accountable.

Is not it enough...

Is not it a high time to kick them, whenever they dare to insult us...

Is not it a right time to take control of our life in our hands...!!!

A Deadly Assault on India!

The recent Mumbai incidence is the biggest terrorist attack on India. In many ways, this attack was bigger than the attack of 9/11 on World Trade Center, as the terrorists stormed an area span of eight kilometers in highly crowded region of Mumbai. This Jihadi attack was extending from CST Railway Station to Nariman Point in Colaba, killing and shooting everyone. The death toll is around 300 and equally number of people are seriously injured. Twenty brave policemen and two National Security Guards commando were also deceased. The attack was carried out by any damn Fidaayin Jehadis- that is not a matter of bigger concern, but the way they defeated all civilian security of Mumbai city is the prime cause of concern. The delayed response aggravated the tragedy and resulted in more causality.

I observed, politicians have a larger stake into this incident. News papers says that RAW has given the information on the 'ship' and 'satellite phone conversation with Laskar' to police way back on 19 November, 2008 while IB informed a probable attack on Taj on 25th September. (The Hindu, 30 Nov) But still the terrorists executed their plan successfully. If we review the last period of two months, the entire ATS was focused on two person's interrogations and each of finding was coming to media - like a big bang - as they had got the biggest terrorists on the earth!! It is interesting to mention that the whole drama was behind a blast which happened in 2006. Ignoring continuous big blasts of 2008 in all big cities of India, they were busy in demonizing 'Hindus' as terrorists. The whole act was even much beyond the rules of interrogation. All accusations, blames and investigation was coming to media line by line.

Certainly, we should not have sympathy with any kind of terrorists but the matter was much more than plain investigation as the way it was being operated through hype of media. When congress lost in last state elections- Himachal, Uttarakhand and Karnataka. They needed something 'BIG' to defeat others vote by accusing -Hindu terrorist- a new game! What is truth behind it- no one knows. A question in everyone's mind - why entire attention of ATS was on these two while big terrorists were arranging every thing for this attack.. right under their nose! The attack of ruling party was on police when they encountered terrorists at Batala House. The Police force lost their brave shooter and still, It was politics which demoralized police forces. Hence ATS is not to blame for what they were doing, as that was desired for government of Maharashtra.

But all these politics cost dearer to us. The life lost and ruined families of innocent Indian will not be recovered by any foxy politician and their dirty vote bank game. The soul of deceased citizens of India may rest in peace... I feel sorry that we are scape goat between govt and terrorists! God bless India and Indians.

कल्पित नाम लिखा रखा है;

Act of Life!

Response for responsibility,
Pressure to perform,
Accord with accomplishment,
Reaction to reality,
Falling with failure,
Happiness to humble hope,
Sadness about sudden things!
All make a differently behavior,
They call it insanity
I think it is balancing act of life!!

Blasts in Delhi.. Again! but why??

12th Sept night was little bit lengthy and I was working on my research paper. It happened so time consuming, I went bed at 4.30 AM of 13th Sept, but 3 hours later i had to getup as, friends had came to visit me. without proper sleep, I was not feeling so well, but still have to work. Had my breakfast and started for studying.. within a few minutes I got a call, from someone who was claiming to be a policeman. He straightly asked the contact number of some girl. The number was something like - 9268XX9770. Since, I dint know, I humbly denied that i don't have any number of such person. hearing this, the person gone mad... said, I will book you and 'dekh lunga' and so on.. I kept the call... It was an unwanted, uninvited headache for me.. I called some friends, and by them I came to know that these guys do 'wasooli' (extortion) kinda thing. I called to police control room and informed them about such things. After an hour, someone from Vasant Vihar police station called me and confirmed that the number belong to 'kashmiri gate' police station. I asked, why the hell he dared to call me and talk like this? the fellow on other side said sorry for the incident and said that they have removed my number some list...

I wondered, how badly policemen have decreased upto this level, they are doing 'wasooli' for private firms... they don't have work? don't they care about damn security thing of this city! just few hours later, I heard this news of serial bomb blasts!! It didn't surprise me... one can guess, how easy to carry out such operations, when cops are busy on working for 'call center' kinda sub-contracting job. These blasts have taken lives of more than 40 people, hundred are injured... families ruined and still there will be come statement and counter statement by our politicians. 'Panchnama' by police... News and counter news for TV channels and yet another blast for common man.. who is suffering it the most! Being a common man, you have to pay for their misdeeds, ignorance and immoral acts- all time- when they are at work and when they are not at work. Do you have a clue, how to get into the route cause of the problem? be it Indian mujaheddin, Al-quaida, ISI or CIA or any damn crook criminals!? ... no one have! a system which is valueless, chaotic and greedy from top end to bottom end- we can expect their response.

Let it go...

I have been digitally troubled since last two days.. firstly media bios of my system started showing malfunction. I couldn't listen songs, I could not even record my daily blog.. then I had to fix it, after an operation of my system. finally I was able to fixed it.. a relief!! I enjoyed it by watching animation movie 'Wall.E'. Animation movies are my favorite.
Later, after a nap I went for jogging in evening. When I returned, had shower and after some relaxing started my comp... checked mails.. Now guess what! I logged into my orkut account- found it deleted by orkut due to 'violations' of terms and conditions... w00t! a four year relation with online buddies ended! I was owner of various communities, including on popular academic community. I felt little shabby.. but I have to accept - Jo hota hai achha hi hota hai!
Anything which is created, must have to go someday... and sooner is better! I hope, I can feel less crowded mind now!

Google got the Edge again : Google Chrome

Like other millions of netizens, I am a big fan of Google's services and use almost all facilities provided by them. This time, I was waiting eagerly for Google's Internet browser. When download was available, I was among those, who downloaded the beta version of it in very first hour. Using it since last three days, I must say Google has kept its promise for better Internet browser. Not going by Lehman Brothers analysis of Internet browser's share predictions, I can say that Google Chrome can be a future's best browser.

- Faster and easier to use
- Best appearance and reloading
- Better box functions like - Find (Clt + F)
- More screen spaces for page
- Better security encryption (have not analysed on cookies yet)
- Better TAB and Bookmark functions

- Non-compatibility with few websites - hotmail,
- Problem with java based input box functions
- Problem with upload boxes on some pages
- Malfunctioning of page's links

However, going by Google's track record on improvement of its services, I can say that they will certainly improve it in coming versions of Chrome.

Yet another Independence Day!

Feeling of the political freedom on the eve of Independence Day is very sacrosanct. It recites the duty, and commitment towards the nation! It emphasizes the urge of national unity. Wait a minute! When you think of nation, inevitably the role and image of state comes in. Indian state and Netas ... Can you remember another synonyms for them. They are convicted but still make law for us. They take money for asking questions. They change the law, if it affects their profitable post. Not only them, entire public mechanism fallows suite. And we can say:

Corruption is religion of our nation!

Yes friends! I am talking about my own beloved nation that is called India. Our constitution says that India shall be a secular state. Even the recent EU report refers India as largest secular democracy.
But I believe my nation is not really a secular nation. There is religion, which is practiced by almost every Indian with deep faith in it. And this religion is ‘Corruption’.
One can count hundred thousands of examples about it. But reality is that, we practice is so religiously that it has become a part of our life and we cannot spare it. ‘Esake Bina Jindagi Adhuri ho Jayegi’ (Life will crippled without it.)
Not only crippled, one may lost its life if dare to refuse about it. Yes! You won’t get your birth certificate, can’t access public health services, won’t be able to leave peacefully, won’t get water and electricity and the worst is- even you won’t get your food.
Few weeks ago our PM taught industrialist not to show off their money! While advising them to share the benefits of economic growth with poor, -- he just cracks a serious bad joke for poor. It is an open secrete, that one going to share a penny of it profit to poor. See, what a shame is taking place. New Industrial policies, including SEZ and Corporate Law are aimed to befit industrialist. They are making easy money at the cost of blood and life of poor. But who cares.. Not even PM. And why he should care? He himself is a millionaire!
Leave apart big things.. The issue of daily life is against them who have nothing to expend. If you don’t have enough money you can not get education… forget the higher education, even secondary education is out of reach of poor. And if you have 2-3 lakhs, it really does not matter what your score is.. you just need to rush to Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai or Pune, you can get admission in any Medical, Engineering or Management college. Next step is to join corporate gang to further exploitation of poor. Look at a kid from poor, s/he may score higher, but can’t do any thing as s/he can’t pay even minimum fees at government colleges, because s/he has to earn for family in order service after all it is matter of ‘Papi pet ka Sawal hai’. (It is a matter of subsistence)

One more struggle day!

Its 08-08-08...wonderful date, is not it! and I am sitting at rainwatffice of manager, Film Division, GOI.. totally soaked in rain water. Here a vedio documentary film titled 'Ramayana aur Ram sethu' is being screened for The Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, Govt. of India. It is sorry to see the difficulties faced while working against system. This movie challenges the institutionalization of stereo type secularism being promoted by government agencies which is being manifested through prorogations and actions against Hinduism.

We are still waiting for final words from tribunal. It is 1.35 now.. have been sitting here since 10 AM.

Friends, Thanks for standing by me!

Accept my best wishes on occasion of International Friendship Day!

I must express my gratitude to all of my friends, for standing by me.
Those long odd years, when my behavior was fragile and I was emotionally vulnerable...

I always had my friend, being with me and encouraging me all the time.
During those tough times, I always called on them... and I am lucky that list was long and I won over dark nights very soon...

The time of rejoice also came occasionally, and I never forget my friends
and I am lucky to receive their anticipation and acceptation of myself as I am! best wishes again on this day.. dedicated to friends.

I would rather sing a song on this occasion:
(By Ben King)

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

And darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me

If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
And the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry, no I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

And finally the money game rationalized in parliament. It was worst mockery of representative electoral democracy, when cash were being flaunt and demonstrated. No one wondered... at least common man thought, what new in it, it has been happening since years.
Voting on nuclear deal revealed not just money loophole but also the criminal deed and cunning instinct of politicians were justified. We, as common people would not be given any employment by public sector or international, when we have 'any' criminal case against us... Same time we observed, the hideous criminals are making law for us, voting for issues of national and international importance.

Still voyage is on...

The crossroads of my life!

Keep waiting for me
with all those surprises..

Heading in where?
where shall I arrived...
Is this a voyage towards nowhere!

Still, I got to go!
go with time, with the trend,
Life says: One must go...

The puzzling quest of people,
to get more.. to keep more!
I wonder what will they do it with all more!

Have you gone through
Behavioral changes in situations,
psychiatric breakdowns and depressions...
Yes! I have been through it all!
An adventurous life I am blessed with!

The characters have made it
more colourful and interesting...
Sometime the promises and dreams
of everlasting become day or week-lasting!

The mean buddies have poked emotionally,
and have been ditched for better option!
Ideology, consciousness and faith,
have been misused often!

Still voyage is on...
with more energy and adventure!
Unexplored avenues are amazing
and shall be sailing towards departure!

Yes! I got to go...
in tandem with life!
with no alibi for lagging behind।

The World Record Holders of Genocide!

I am posting this article on 'my story' blog, because I was attacked personally by one of CPM office holders of Mumbai in a public froum on the issue of supporting 'Tibetan Freedom Movement'. Here is the article:

It is a good example, how fanatic a communist can be. After a quick research in news sources, I found the total number of deaths caused by communist regime. They have killed more people than all regime together. Here is the data, how communists have killed the most people in the human history.

- People's Republic of China, Mao Zedong's regime (1949-1975): 40 000 000
Guinness Book of World Records: Although nowadays they don't come right out and declare Mao to be the Top Dog in the Mass Killings category, earlier editions (such as 1978) did, and they cited sources which are similar, but not identical, to the Glaser & Possony sources:
- On 7 Apr. 1969 the Soviet government radio reported that 26,300,000 people were killed in China, 1949-65.
- In April 1971 the cabinet of the government of Taiwan reported 39,940,000 deaths for the years 1949-69.
- The Walker Report: between 32,2500,000 and 61,700,000.

- Stalin's regime (1924-53): 20 000 000

- Chinese Civil war: (1945-49): 2 500 000

- Tibet (1950 et seq.): Chinese occupation. (For the most part, it's already been included in the numbers above.) Free Tibet Campaign []
* Tibetans killed by the Chinese since 1950: 1,200,000
* Died in prisons and labour camps between 1950 and 1984: up to 260,000

- Naxalites in India from 1990 to till date: 50,000

- Pol-Pot in Vietnam have have killed 10,00000
- CPI-M in West Bengal and Kerala- 20,000 Till date
(and accommodate millions of illegal Bangladeshi migrants)

Friends, knowing all this, if someone still support such pan-communist killers. After committing all these killing they are qualified to be termed and mass-butchers. One can imagine such people can be more ruthless than even Satan. Ironically, the Indian version of communists are not opening their mouth on present Tibet issue.
