Udayveer ji, talking about the caste should not be one sided. What Dr Ambedkar did was not Annihilation of caste but rather insitutionalization of caste. The worst form of caste discrimination, which is publish in the govt report or any other report - is not universal. Even today, 99% atcrocities against poor or dalits are done by the so called OBC castes, who gets more reservations than even dalits! Talking on Dr Ambedkar, he was an educated rhetoric. His father was working in army. Local king sponsered all education on Mr Ambedkar. Despite that, He never participated in freedom struggle, also demanded separate electoral. Political parties and govt documents often lie in order to maintain the political correctness, referring him as a freedom fighter. He was never one. Read and think. "Congress Party is mother of Indian backwardness" - this is a well established fact. The cost we have been paying is huge.     I just found a pamphlet, I wrote three years ago while studying at JNU. The context was, the communist parties SFI (CPM) AISA(CPML) along with NSUI (Congress) and ABVP (BJP) were sitting on a hunger strike to implement caste based OBC quota in JNU.  It is to be noted that government had already issued the notifications, Supreme Court under CJI KGB has already allowed the caste discrimination in higher education... but these quota mongers where still sitting on hunger strike for it. Though it is funny and foolish act for any other rational human being, but they all were aiming to vote bank. All of them! Govt of Congress party brought this undemanded quota and all rest parties were biting like a dog.  Have a look at this pamphlet.

I don't wonder why an useless dynasty has been ruling India since 1947, which gave us national disaster like Kashmir issue. Needless to say the family ceded a greater part of Laddakh to China, Chickened on Tibet annexation. (Read Nehru's role in it. )  For the first few decades this party only won as 'the party who got freedom for us'. The name was important 'Indian Natioanl Congress'. Even Gandhi ji knew the repercussion of misusing the name of national movement and suggested dismantling it. But Nehru had long term plans for his shrewd and dirty socialist mind. He had launched his daughter in to politics by then, keeping the name was easiest way to win again and again. The family did nothing but to seal its imprint on the minds of every Indians. Anna, we are the youths who have great hope from your satyagrah, Who went on vigils at Tihar, Ramlila Maidan, India Gate and Jantar Mantar. We still have our support for you... However, we are deeply hurt by your team being accommodating political tricks of reservations and secularism. Youth for Equality expresses its dissent and deep concerns over instigation of caste and communal divide by BSP and Congress party. After HRD minister Mr Kapil Sibal expressed his desire to expand the reservations limit beyond 50%, sectarian politicians like Mayawati rushed to PM for Muslim Quota and General quota. It was summer of 2006, I was going for a stroll after dinner. Just at the entrance of hostel gate I encountered one of my classmates who was furious about a joke on Arjun Singh. Yes, It was the time when HRD Minister opened his caste electoral card in forms of Quota in educational institute where entrance exams are in practice for admission. Though it has nothing new, and already in practice, this time it was a causing concern as it would compromise over entry in top engineering and medical colleges.
