Re-introducing Simply Yuva

Six years ago, I conceptualized this idea SimpyYuva.com to empower youths about their electoral rights, employment, society and the culture. http://simplyyuva.com when I researched about existing Youth portal I found the element missing. Hence I am re-introducing it with more objectives. Authors, bloggers, poet, cartoonists and photographers are most welcome as contributor. Divisive Agendas and Educated Indians

While caste being less and less important in common lives of Indians, caste-politics is picking up and growing up to deeper depths. Education and appointments are totally casteists now, even the text book and examination papers are becoming tool for justification of caste politics and vote bank politics.             When India won freedom, entire population was poor and illiterate, regardless of its caste line. Reservations were far less and only in Electoral and public jobs. At present, 64 years down the line, Indian populous is richer and more literate and even more urban (where caste don’t even matter in real life), the caste quotas are must increased and infested all higher educational institutes even specialized agencies such as ISRO, NRSA, DRDO and all other government agencies. What is making this tendency stronger? Certainly nothing but the lust of power, which is being clinched through divisive vote bank policies....

Know them well...

"Congress Party is mother of Indian backwardness" - this is a well established fact. The cost we have been paying is huge.     I just found a pamphlet, I wrote three years ago while studying at JNU. The context was, the communist parties SFI (CPM) AISA(CPML) along with NSUI (Congress) and ABVP (BJP) were sitting on a hunger strike to implement caste based OBC quota in JNU.  It is to be noted that government had already issued the notifications, Supreme Court under CJI KGB has already allowed the caste discrimination in higher education... but these quota mongers where still sitting on hunger strike for it. Though it is funny and foolish act for any other rational human being, but they all were aiming to vote bank. All of them! Govt of Congress party brought this undemanded quota and all rest parties were biting like a dog.  Have a look at this pamphlet.

Crimes of a Lunatic Govt

The Planning Commission told the Supreme Court that anyone spending more than Rs 965 per month in urban India and Rs 781 in rural India will be deemed not to be poor. At same time Govt has increased creamy layer income up to 4.5 lakhs per year. It means, anyone from who is earning 45,000 Rs can avail all facilities, quota, preferences and reservations along with those who are earning 781 Rs per month. If the poor family earning 781 Rs per month is from non-category castes, they have to pay more for govt facilities and education compare to Rs 45,000 earning families. This gross injustice is being institutionalised by govt as poor don't form a consolidated vote bank? However, this white lie of government can not change the reality. With skyhigh food inflation rates, every month millions of unemployed population falling into the trap of poverty. Small farmers, landless labourers, wage workers and people at the margins of economy don't get occasional hikes in their income. The p...

PRESS RELEASE: SAY NO TO CASTE BASED RESERVATIONS

Youth for Equality expresses its dissent and deep concerns over instigation of caste and communal divide by BSP and Congress party. After HRD minister Mr Kapil Sibal expressed his desire to expand the reservations limit beyond 50%, sectarian politicians like Mayawati rushed to PM for Muslim Quota and General quota. Both acts of power hungry politicians must be condemned with strong words.        In a nation where urban and rural poor are forced to live in substandard life conditions, caste quotas are meant to serve those who are already in well-to-do. The economically weaker sections are left on their own fate as they don't constitutes vote bank. These weaker section can't be made fool for long by media visits of Rahul Gandhi. Reservations in higher education and government jobs prove to be a mockery of social justice under these circumstances.              Politicians are purposefully trying to impose the elite system of cast...

Vigilance Approach vs Servile Attitude

Today ex-CJI Mr. Balakrishanan is back in News. I faced him in court room of Supreme Court for the final verdict on OBC quota (caste reservations) in IITs, IIMs, AIIMS and other Central Universities. The each line of his personal verdict was the language of Govt. In summery, he favored govt side despite all evidences were against the govt move. I always knew it that at the end judiciary gonna support the govt and we will accept it. The servile attitude is duped deep in our blood by colonial rulers.  Even my friends dint agree with my dissent on verdict, but after the detailed study of the verdict they felt cheated in same way.            I posted my opinion on than CJI (Mr Balakrishanan's) favoritism in some social media forum. Even that group was of those who opposed castism and caste based reservations, they attacked me for raising question on judiciary's and CJI's favoritism. Though, I stand affirm on what I said, as I was talking on facts; however ...

Higher Education as Political tool: From Quota to Foreign Universities

While addressing higher education in India, things like knowledge, skill enhancement, research, teaching, learning, books, infrastructure etc are secondary issues. The primary concern is who gets what based on one’s caste. Though, the caste-call is a main feature not only of Higher education and technical education… but also in all aspects of Indian life- Politics, Jobs, House Allotments, Govt Plans, Schemes, festivals and so on!    Here, we are citing a burning example of Higher education as it has practically less related with caste-capabilities and more related with learning process. Entrance tests and admission criteria are skewed based on caste and categories. One poor Brahmin student with higher scores cannot make in best universities of India but a rich Dalit student can get through with less marks. This arrangement is not only discriminating the poor Brahmin, but also depriving the poor Dalit. The greedy people are ripping all benefits of reservations...

Petition for Equality and Transparency in Higher Education

Equality and Transparency in Higher Education Petition To: Indian Citizens To The Prime Minister, Government of India Honorable Sir, With due respect, we, the students of India would like to draw your kind attention to the following inherent irregularities in the present appointment process of lecturers. 1. At present interview is the only criteria for recruitment, but for one or two vacancies as many as 200 to 300 applicants are called and interviewed within 6 to 7 hours. It is impossible to judge the capabilities and abilities of a candidate within a time span of 2 to 3 minutes. 2. Quite often it is alleged that inter university discrimination is prevalent in the selection process by the board members. Selection board often prefers their own students, ignoring other competent candidates. 3. There is lack of uniform criteria among different universities and colleges to call candidates for the interview. 4. There are striking irregularities and differences in terms of application fe...
