Being A Rebel

पिछले कुछ दिनों से मेरा आत्म निरीक्षण चल रहा है. सही गलत फैसले, समाज कार्य के अपने समय का ध्यान ना रखना... और जब आप खुद ही Vulnerable और Available बना देते हैं, तो मौके पर चौका तो दुनिया मारेगी ही, किसी से शिकवा नहीं, बस खुद से शिकायत है. इसी को व्यक्त करने के लिए एक शैर लिखा मैंने आज: बस एक ही अर्ज है आज इस ज़माने से, बाज़ आये हमारी खामोशियाँ आजमाने से, यूँ ही सह लिया है दौर-ए-जहाँ के सितम, सीने में ज्वालामुखी है जाने किस ज़माने से! लखनऊ, ९ अगस्त २०१४ 

It is rightly said that this world is limited to your existence.  But this existence is quite complicated. For someone like me - the existence is sprawled right from the means of living being to some in need and to the society, culture and nation.  I must accept that, many a times I have messed with the priorities of these aspects.Hence, lost on the due course of life. Many companions are lost by cruel hands of nature, many mend their ways out. But I keep discovering myself. Past few years made that phase of life, when the mess was on and personal life was on last priority. Intense socio-political campaign which was started years ago has just yielded power change in India. However, many things have changed. Many hopes are proven myths.  Amidst this chaos in thoughts, somewhere the personal existence has been reckoned. And here I am, back to personal blogs, poems and if time permits some serious research articles. :)

Along with my major research interests such as Natural Resource Management, Drought Management, Agriculture is one of my favorite topic for research and analysis. Agriculture is not only the most important economic activity that feed entire human population, it is also single source of livelihood for world's most poor and marginal population.     With openness provided by Internet Forums and #SocialMedia, there is a possibility of an inclusive policy discussion. One of such discussion was conducted by @IDRC "Are genetic crops the answer to the world food crisis? Ask India's Green Revolution founder" on World Food Day, 2013.     Though, I don't endorse genetic food for people due to possible generic massacre of agricultural gene-pool, my interest was solving food crisis. वक्त के थपेडों से लड़ कर,  अभाव की ऊँचाई चढ़ कर,  कुछ हिम्मत वाले सपने देखते हैं..  जी-जान लगा कर मेहनत करते हैं. कर गुजरने का धुन अगर सच्चा है, सपने  सच हो जाएँ तो अच्छा है. कोई तगमा नहीं चाहिए,  लोगों के चेहरों पर बस खुशी चाहिए. किसी का बुरा हो जाए,  ऐसी कामयाबी भी क्या कामयाबी हम खुद को भूल जाए,  ऐसी मंजिल भी क्या मंजिल. लेकिन दुनिया भी बड़ी अजीब है, उसको पानी नहीं मृगमरीचिका चाहिए,  काम नहीं, बस दिलासा चाहिए.  फिर कुछ ऐसे भी लोग होते हैं,  धर्म बेचते हैं, ईमान बेच देते हैं खुद की कामयाबी की खातिर इंसान बेच देते हैं! ऐसे लोग शहंशाह भी बन जाएँ तो क्या,  सबको बेवक़ूफ़ बना भी लें तो क्या! जीत  तो हमेशा से सच की हुई है,  आज हँस लो सपने बेचने वालों,  आखीर में तो मेहनत ही मुस्करायी है!
